Джон Ліндо (John Lindo) звик до того, що його постійно обзивали ''товстим''. Природно, він не схожий на типового танцюриста.
Але, коли він виходить на танцпол ...
Можна з упевненістю сказати, що він підготовлений набагато краще тих людей, на тілі у яких немає ні грама зайвої ваги!
Через свою зовнішність Джон має справу з забобонами протягом декількох років. Але він чудовий танцюрист! Джон танцює свінг з 1992 року. Він змагався на професійному рівні і виграв такі конкурси, як U. S. Open.
Коли Джон і його партнерка по танцях вперше вийшли на танцпол, навкруги помітні були глузливі перешіптування та посмішки!
Але коли вони зробили перші кроки, аудиторія просто заніміла, широко розкривши очі!
Це для всіх нас ще одне зайве нагадування про те, що ніколи не можна судити про книгу по її обкладинці!

Для тих, хто незнайомий зі Swing West Coast: це танець - Jack&Jill - означає, що танцівники не знають, хто буде їхній партнер до того часу, поки не зіграє мелодія. Вони також не знають, яка музика буде грати. Вони повинні імпровізувати. Звісно, вони знають один одного роками, але не є постійними партнерами. Постійним партнером Ніколи (Nicola Royston) є її чоловік Роберт (хлопець в чорному одязі, якого постійно стримують його друзі 😂).

We met Mr. Lindo in Calgary in 2018, he was a super nice guy. Even though we were beginners at the time he danced with my girl which made her beam for months. Thanks John for a great time and sharing your knowledge in your classes.

I've been dancing WCS since 1995. A few things taught in the class. Far more is learned from experience. Ask a woman what she likes; she'll TELL YOU. This is why women outnumber men on slow nights. Women love being led. Women become engrossed once learning you can lead their abilities. The woman is the picture and the man is the frame. Frames always display the picture. Done right, you gets LOTS more dances.

Don't know if that is her boyfriend sitting down and jumping up but all the guys should remember you don't mess with ' Big John '... but to the woman he is a Gentle John and they know just how to dance with him. John Lindo is a cool dancer and this video was a hot one with all the good moves.

The men in the background appear to be mocking and jealous of "the big guy and his moves." That's ok. They will never be as good as John. He is one special dancer and just a great guy!
It looks more like "why're you wasting your time with her when you can tear it up with me, Daddy?!"
The guy in the back is her husband or significant other and he's just giving John a hard time playing around because of how John is dancing with his girl
