French's Top gun had their own version and taste, so "Chevalier Du Ciel" song and vibe is pretty much encapsulate the beauty of delicate of French Aircraft, a joy to ride, fast and maneuverable also Alps
@@JayjayElon this one is the softer version than the original and which gives a more technological sound (like the beeps at the beginning of the verses). The best.
One of the best intros I've seen in aviation film history. Like the aircraft was like digitally stripped down to its parts, analyzed and then transitions to the next aircraft as the intro credit titles roll through up until it gets to the very title of the film. And surprising to know that they filmed the first few scenes during the 2004 Farnborough International Air Show, a year prior to the film's release in 2005.
Me too, I only bought the Bluray because of this great intro!!!! The dynamics, the transitions - the breaking down into individual parts = perfect choreography. My favorite intro of all time... (The movie is rather crap)
Film beaucoup critiqué pour son scénario, mais Top-Gun n'était guère meilleur.. Ce que l'on retiendra pour les deux: des prises de vue aériennes absolument magnifiques.
Heavily underrated film with beautiful sound and images. A bit of a shame the quality of the story doesn’t match the rest. It still holds up against Top Gun in my opinion.
It seems to be, nowadays, that no film can be made without a 'positive American' influence or an American actor being inserted, it goes way back as far as Bridge on the River Kwai. There wasn't an American in the book. All about the bums on seats, seemingly Americans won't watch a film that doesn't contain an American, or so they think.
This intro proves, Aircraft scenes doesn't need metal or any fast music always. The music can be soft and still match the scene.
That fits American jets

Ok, so I saw :
F-16/ Tornado / Gripen / Harrier / 787 (Not sure) / Apache / Hawk
French movie but no french planes in the intro :@
this is a meeting, not only french planes...
