Thanks Al! So glad you do, and this plane is great, but not quite as much of an experience as the Cirrus, if you pressed me. I love the Cirrus ;) Plus BNF and not a lot more money... it's a no-brainer for me, BUT once you have the Cirrus, then this one needs to land in your hangar - OHHHHHHH YEAH!

Great video entertainment as always. The nose gear strut on a full scale Cessna 400 protrudes approximately 30-40%. The Tower Hobbies model appears to be a little more, closer to 50%. So while it is admittedly a tad bit ugly, at least it's close to scale. :)

PSYCH! I'm going flying soon, and every time I hear a beep from the video I go check my charger. Lol
Dual rates and Expo- rudder and elevator settings work fine however ailerons don't? The 3 small boxes at the bottom, the one I am using turns black and the other two have lines running diagonally across the boxes? If I switch to one of the other boxes it turns black and the previous one gets the lines.

1:29:00 had to stop the video to say that I had a new plane set-up at home. When I pre-flight checked at the field the Rudder went part way and then jumped to full rudder. In both directions. Some how the rate switch got additionally associated with the rudder stick! Weird. Glad I figured it out at the field and was able to do the maiden.
I posted a video on the conversion of the ultimate biplane from glow to electric. It only took a year! haha

Were you able to program reverse thrust? I have reached out to tower hobby for a programming manual for the esc
have you had success in setting up reverse thrust? I have not been able to locate a esc manual
no, there wasn't a method, and even if there was, this plane is pretty easy to get down quick. I would like it too, but it's not a deal breaker for me on an otherwise good plane.
If you want it, you could steal an Avian out of a crashed plane??? OR just order one...it's not a big ESC, so should be able to use "Avian Lite" and keep the cost down, if you're interested.
@@BrianPhillipsRC I agree with you. Thanks for responding. I did buy the plane. I would suspect that there is a way to program the esc since it did come with the yellow thrust reverse wire. Happy flying.
