I typically think edits like these are really cheesy. However, I couldn’t agree more. This song really suits this movie. It reminds me of Lost in Translation when MBV starts playing and there's a B-roll of the city.
@@OGCompleteI usually scoff at fanmade music videos like these because most of them seem like an edgy, moody teenager's side project. But Wong Kar Wai's shots really elevate this way above some im14andthisisdeep trash.

Im jealous of people who wont ever grasp just how devastating this movie truly is with the way it conveys loneliness, especially with the way Michelle Reis portrays apathy. Its really nice to see my favourite film and song in a single video and recently this song have been hitting like a truck. To whoever made this video, I’m sure you must have gone through some pretty lonely and rough moments in your life too to be able to cohesively piece these two masterpieces together. I hope things are better for you now and if not, may it change soon :)

3:37 until 3:55, probably you found something and feel like goosebumps, that was a perfect match film for a perfect song like Elegy the void. There are some scenes in this part of the song that are so powerful with Wong kar wai film that I can’t explain how heartbroken and beautiful is. Thank you ❤️

Honestly, this is my single favourite video on the whole of UA-cam. Thank you so much. I actually saw this a few days before I finally watched Fallen Angels, and was slightly worried it may spoil my appreciation of the movie as I came to associate certain scenes with this (perfect) soundtrack. But was very happy to find it is truly the masterpiece your edit suggested. WKW is the best!

One of my favourite films ! Great video again . BTW do you just cut certain parts from the whole film ? Because these clips look very polished and HD . Loved the transition at 5:57 😍
First of all you have to find a good quality file to work with.
Then, with adobe premiere, there are some video effects that can help you to improve video quality, like "sharp mask" (i think it's called in english). Also neat video can give you a big hand, but you have to use it carefully or it will make look everything out of focus 😅.
Then export the video to the maximum resolution possible, because UA-cam codec shitty bitrate will kill your original file quality. So exporting it in 4K helps, because the bigger the file, the less UA-cam can screw it up 😅
