That tunnel used to escape with amanda is open when you start the game. I take everyone there early for health, superior armor, and an automatic shotgun. It respawns quickly. The observatory has a sniper rifle near the telescope on the left side everyone can find. Driving fast is fun but costly. Important messages are missed, random events passed, important NPCs killed or missed, and $5,000 visits to a hospital are a few. Its a skill all characters improve like shooting so slow down a bit. Complete the shooting range and get a discount on weapons and become better shooting. You're the second person to shoot chop's buddy I've seen. Most important tip is never start anything before resting until morning. Only a few missions required darkness and some are nightmares if started at night. Thanks for posting.
