  • Today we are making and comparing 2 loaves of the same bread - 1 is a sourdough version, while the other is a regular dry yeast version. The bread itself is an amazing, rustic, Southern Italian style bread, made using 4 different flours, which makes for amazing flavor. They are so very easy to make too!! Hope you give them a try.

I was so excited to make this and it was a complete flop. l didn t have a scale yet l Google all ingredients and got the vonversions. After leaving it for 12 hrs to rise it was so very sticky l couldn t do anything with it, so l added more flour. lt became somewhat workable yet sticky. l carried through with all the steps and the end result was very doughy bread. The smell and taste was great and the crust was pretty good. l d love to get this right it seems like a great recipe. l ordered a scale.

You are going to notice a huge improvement once you get your scale ,- weighing is very important and the key to success 👍

If you live in a warmer weather, do you let it proof less than 12 hours

It's possible that it may double in size in 10 hours instead of 12

Normally, I have the recipe noted in the description below but this time, because there are 2 recipes, they wouldn't fit, so unfortunately, I do not have a printed version :(
