That was a brilliant parody of 1950's visions of the future! They thought we'd be so excited about ugly utilitarian technology like food pellets... little did they know we'd have ugly utilitarian liturgy instead... The narrator is excellent; he's got that 50's sound, authoritatively excited enunciation.
“The first class of the day is Fundamental Moral Christological Ecclesiastical Scripture Sacraments. Its taught in Hebrew Latin and Greek, or course” Ooph! This hits too close to home.
I do have a question. the premise may have been that the Class of 1957 filmed it. From the technology I saw (plastic "sleeping pod" hangers, etc.) , it had to have been closer to the 1980s. What year was this made?
After the lecture on the evils of Communism by that zealous Jesuit and the phrase, "I guess some things never change," I lost all composure! I'm going outside to smoke a cigar for the Holy Souls.
Kudos to the narrator who does an excellent job with a mid-atlantic accent, which was so much more prevalent in the 50s.
Spot on, narrator!
May Fr. Harkins rest in peace.

i rewatch this every year or so it’s so funny
Very well done!
Funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. Spot on parody on all fronts.
i find it hilarious, as an ex seminarian, but im not sure if it is satirizing the older formation or the reality of the new formation...
It's neat how you made your video look like an old black and white film.
This is hilarious, you rule Mike!
Brilliant job men
