Hello there! I saw this back when you uploaded and I really liked the concept! ♥ How have things been since? Have you made a lot of progress? Definitely looking forward to whenever this is finished!
I provided the links to the tools I used in description. The main one is AutoMSTK which allows you to unpack/repack sprites, dialogues, music and even script files. It has a readme (you can launch the bat files with the command prompt, look it up if you don't know what that is). EditDisk is then used to copy over the repacked .DAT files. I'll most likely make a video tutorial at some point, good luck!
Splendid! Although Patchouli as a fast movement type seems kinda unfit for me, but to each their own~ You might reconsider swapping her with Yuuka or Reimu, or attempting to adjust Mima's movement speed if that's possible by some miracle.
I think Mima makes more sense for what I wanted the shot and bomb to be (I could swap her with other characters indeed) but I may try to tinkle with the scripting at some point.
@@JonathanKanelis For now you may seek out for achieving full compatibility with all emulators out there. I think it'd be the best to revolve around DOSBox since it allows for the most accurate PC-98 emulation from my experience, alongside NekoProject2.
@@kotohime I personally usually use T98Next but if I manage to find a proper way to repack the HDI files this shouldn’t be impacted by the emulator used.
