Hell yeah congratulations Matt on powerbombing those demons and maintaining sobriety!
Rene I really appreciate how open and honest you and your guests are about addiction. The only way out of this evil Opioid crisis is through everyday warriors fighting the good fight as our government and health care system have lost their minds.

Congrats to Matt ! I KNOW firsthand it aint easy . I got on pills then heroin and in a few short years I was homeless . Never ever in my life could I imagine getting that far gone . 5 years clean this past August 17th . I did slip twice in those years but only for a day or two . I made sure I got myself in check before I wrecked everything I had going and built . And I damn sure would have too had I went a day longer or so . Thank God .

Congratulations to then-WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, then-United States Champion Big Show and A-Train's Survivor Series, 2003 tag team partner (in a pointless match) for a lengthy sobriety run!

Think as big as he was me and my friend cousin we could all take 25 to 32 tabs and them morphins to and act Normal that's why I found checking into rehab that I had enough to drop a horse and needed more now 12 years clean

I've got a lot of respect for Matt for sharing this. He is very brave, especially for being an elected public figure and saying this. It's weird to learn that the wrestlers I used to watch were all going through this. WWE is a cold, abusive and uncaring company. It starts at the top. Vince is psychopathic, sees people as something to be used and thrown away, and sickly rationalises it as "business". Johnny Ace, for better or for worse EH? See how YOU are doing now, Johnny.

wish Rene would clean off his camera before these shoots. Having half his face be blurred really sucks.

That’s great that he quit. Quitting opiates is like quitting cigarettes…only 10X worse.
