It can be helpfull to read something about it if you want to speak better.
„powinien” is historically an adjective ‚obliged to’. That is why this verb differs that much from the other modal verbs. „móc” may also mean „may” ;) and is historically also related to it as well as to the German Verb „mögen“. Best wishes from Warsaw!
