I went 5 or 6 times to Bratislava for business, last time was about 4 years ago. Did not have the opportunity to visit the castle but it looks great. I also liked the part around the square with the nice old houses. Great to see B again.😁
Glad you enjoyed out little tour of the town! It is a really nice place for sure. I hope you'll get the opportunity to visit again (and see the castle in real life) 😄
I live in Bratislava and haven't bought a paper ticket in 10 years. I either use SMS tickets or an app, or buy a ticket on the bus with a credit card in the machine.
The fact that most youtubers film videos like one day in ''amazing Bratislava'' or 24 hours and similar titles proves that this city doesn't have all that much to see and do...but its a nice place non the less just a bit boring.
Well, I mean in our case it was actually because we didn't know how nice it would be, and since it was high season we had to book our next accomodation in Vienna way in advance (so we couldn't extend)! In a way you're right, it's a small city with not "too much" to do or see, but the vibe is very nice and I personally would have liked to stay longer. To be completely honest, I'd pick Bratislava over Vienna any day 😂
Traveling from the 🇺🇸 to Budapest in September and currently deciding if I want to make a stop in Bratislava but I don’t want to be confused with the trams lol. Any advice?
Hahaha, if you've got the time I highly recommend a stop in Bratislava! The tram network is not THAT complicated, we were just a bit stupid and unlucky 😂 Buy tickets from the machines, if it works just buy as many you think you'll need, validate them once when you get on, and then it should be fine! Finally, Google maps is your best friend to tell you which tram to take 😄
You kinda mixed up bryndzové halušky and bryndzové pirohy there. You had pirohy but sounded like you were talking about halušky. Except for that great video about our small capital!
Thanks for sharing, Never a holiday destination that I ever considered?

Walkable, nice people, beautiful places.. what more does one want in a city??
Very, very true! 😄

Beautiful sights :) What time of year did you go?
It's a really cozy town indeed 😄 We went there mid-august, but I'm sure it's really nice all summer long!
Is not underrated in summer is amazing lot of tourists and is beautiful city
It is beautiful indeed, and compared to many other European cities I'd definitely say it's underrated!

Whoops! My bad, thanks for letting me know! 😅 But I'm glad you enjoyed the video anyway!
Old school coins ticket machines. Terrible things, they should convert to card ones
I think that would be a good idea 😂
