Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
An example on Swedish culture protectionsism. Swedish and Norwegian is mutual intelligible. Norwegians listen to Swedish music and lyrics but the suedes do not listen to Norwegian lyrics. Swedish artists has a market in Norway but Norwegian artists do not have a market in Sweden unless they use Swedish language. Swedish and English are the only valid languages in Sweden. You need a very good reason if you want access to the Swedish market in other languages.
I know a Suede living here in the UK. When I mentioned my new enthusiasm for Norwegian music, they showed complete indifference. I assumed with them, Norway & Sweden, being neighbours, they'd be in & out of each others houses, borrowing things, morning coffees. Apparently not then.
@@noriemeha Norwegians and swedes hate to love eachother. We are like siblings. We banter about anything we can. If Edvard Munch's painting The Scream were on an exibition in Sweden, it would be translated into Swedish.
