Kalyanapuram S Aravind sings the kriti Angarakam Ashrayamham, a composition of Muthuswami Dikshithar in Ragam Surutti and Rupakam Thalam. Raga Surutti is a Janyam or Child Ragam in the Carnatic classical system of music of the Raga Harikambhoji. This kriti has been taken from the concert of Aravind that was premiered on 21st December by the Music Academy, Madras with Vids Sindhu Suchetan and B S Prashanth

Aravind is a disciple of the Living Legend Padmabhushan Sangita Kalanidhi Madurai Sri TN Seshagopalan. He also happens to be the nephew of renowned Harikatha Exponent Kalyanapuram Sri Aravamudhachariar
