ChatGPT can get a lot closer to the correct answer if you increase specificity in the request. For example, I asked ChatGPT "How do I make a cactus farm in Minecraft Java Edition 1.18.2?" It replied: To make a cactus farm in Minecraft Java Edition 1.18.2, follow these steps: Find a location for your farm: Look for a flat area that receives plenty of sunlight. Ideally, the location should be near a water source. Build a platform: Use any block to build a platform that is at least 9x9 blocks wide. The platform should be elevated by one block from the ground level. Place sand: Place sand blocks on the platform in a 9x9 grid. Leave the center block empty. Place cactus: Place cactus blocks on the sand, leaving a gap of one block between each cactus. You should be able to place 24 cactus blocks. Create a water channel: Dig a channel along one side of the platform. Place water blocks in the channel, making sure the water flows toward the center of the platform. Collect cactus: As the cactus grows, it will break off and drop onto the sand below. Use a hopper minecart to collect the cactus. Automate the farm: To automate the farm, you can add a redstone clock and a piston to push the cactus blocks into a collection area. Alternatively, you can use a hopper system to automatically collect the cactus. Note: Be careful not to touch the cactus blocks, as they will damage you. Also, be mindful of the fact that cactus blocks can break when pushed by a piston, so you will need to plan your redstone clock accordingly.
I don’t get what’s so hard about the instructions, why can’t you just put water above the pistons and connect them with dust and repeaters 😂 Banger video :)
It's like a cargo cult. The AI knows these blocks are often near one another and interact with one another but has no idea what any of it means or does.

Sure, here's how you can build a 2 by 2 piston door in Minecraft:
Materials needed:
12 sticky pistons

28 redstone dust
8 redstone repeaters
4 redstone torches
8 blocks of your choice for the frame
8 blocks of your choice for the hidden wiring
Step 1: Create the frame
Create a 2 by 2 frame using the blocks of your choice. This will serve as the foundation for the door.
Step 2: Place the pistons
Place the 12 sticky pistons on the inside of the frame, facing inward. Place the 4 regular pistons on the outside of the frame, facing the sticky pistons.
Step 3: Create the hidden wiring
Place the 8 blocks of your choice for the hidden wiring around the outside of the frame. This will hide the redstone and make the door look more seamless.
Step 4: Connect the pistons with redstone
Connect the sticky pistons to the regular pistons using redstone dust. Place the redstone dust on top of the sticky pistons and connect it to the regular pistons with a line of redstone dust.
Step 5: Add repeaters and torches
Place 8 redstone repeaters around the outside of the frame. Connect them to the redstone dust using more redstone dust. Then, place 4 redstone torches on the inside of the frame, one on each side.
Step 6: Power the door
To power the door, simply activate one of the redstone torches. This will send a signal through the repeaters and activate the sticky pistons, causing the door to open. To close the door, activate the other redstone torch.
And that's it! You now have a fully functional 2 by 2 piston door in Minecraft.
