@@TEAMRONALDO1 maybe, but atleast you can always go back and play. It was definitely the best ERA over all so that would be 13, 14, and even 15. And it’s great that we can access all those careers if we choose, what sucks was that was an insane time for ultimate team aswell. Same way ronaldo and Messi are now no longer in their prime as far as cards go, there were also many legends at the time still ingame who haven’t yet retired like drogba, zlatan, Beckham ect, but sadly we’ll NEVER have access to those servers again😭😭 I remember packing an 89 Eden hazard back in fifa 14 and absolutely lost my shit😭😭 he was only 100k too but the value of that was different at the time. Cards actually had value, promos actually had value, totw actually had value. I packed a 98 futties George best in fc24 and I literally didn’t give a fuck. Who cares? Every one got 99 stats now idgaf if y’all gimme a 99 r9 I still wouldn’t be phased. Who cares? What’s so special about it? What can a r9 do in the new fifas that one of the overpowered unknown players in a promo can’t do? What can r9 do that the female cards can’t do? Some of the shorties got better stats than the men, including physical… make that make sense. Back in the day, we’d absolutely lose our mind packing a base Neymar, let alone a base Ronaldo or Messi? You’d absolutely lose your shit. It’s definitely not the same anymore.

@@TheRetroFIFA One that came to mind is a save with Bordeaux. I think they are in the 4th tier of French football and Andy Carroll plays for them at the moment. They won the league in 08-09. Maybe a career mode with prime Carroll (his best fifa was around fifa 16). Bordeaux was in the Europa League during the 15-16 season, but came 4th in the group. They finished 11th in Ligue 1 that season.
Not better graphics wise but that doesn't really matter. Some of us wouldn't consider subpar graphics to be a deal breaker if the game is genuinely fun.

Your attention to detail in this career mode is an instant sub for me. I havent seen any other videos but its inspiring me to do a FIFA14 career mode with Man United and ‘right’ the wrongs which United are still paying for to this date!
so glad ive found your channel. i dont do youtube but i do the exact same thing with keeping records and keeping it realistic with nba 2k14 on pc. i mod in real life prospects and draft classes and i find it so fun to rewrite history in a realistic way and track my progress as i go. keep it up i will definitely be coming back!
Loved this old career mode and really enjoyed the statistical breakdown. Perhaps consider buying a specific goalkeeper from the Bundesliga to help yourself out!

Amazing video, please do more like this. I think your teams main problem was the lack of possession, like you pointed out. This could have been mostly fixed by playing busquets a lot more, because hes a ball winner, very physical, and is great at retaining possession. He'd give you a bit of steel and he's an elite passer.
This is video is really well made, always loved the statistics and tactical analysis part of the game but never knew how to put into practice, really loved your sheet, can we actually have access to the sheet so we can apply it on our career modes?
I think messi’s stats being low are due to you learning how to finesse shot so late lol 😅 it was such a relief when you figured it out you were like ‘ohhh this is how you do the thing’ loved this video and I never play career mode myself but this was nice. Thank you

Fifa 13 Neymar is the best Fifa player I ever had, bar none. Even youth acadedmy monsters weren't as good. In one save he reached 97 overall at 28yo and over 70 G/A in 6 consecutive seasons on 4 minutes Legendary.

Fontas is so cracked in his game. I've done over 20 manager runs in FIFA 13 over the last 12 years and in almost all of them, Fontas ended up peaking between 84-87 ovr and being an absolute unit in defence. The only issues he always had was his stamina, ahockingly bad for a CB.
The previous game engine is insanely good. Even though sometimes the pace and long shot mechanism are quite overpowered. But the defence is fun and make a lot of sense. Also no dynamic potential with everyone go like 90lev + and limited budget all the time.
Just look at how realistic that block was with the ball physics , in freaking fc 25 the ball will go through my players legs as if he’s transparent , this is a 12 year old game by the way

I cant remember if it eas fifa 12 or 13 but you could get any player loaned to your club. I always started with shitty teams and loaned out all real madrid.
Do a cm on fifa 17 Imo it’s the best fifa gameplay wise . growing youth academy players and scoring bangers with the 90+ potential players in training was fun The advanced shooting skill game was so fun in cm there were days where I would just play that all day during lockdown lol
