Hope you feel better! Thank you for taking the 60 back to PHX. IMO it is the most beautiful drive in AZ! Just don’t come that route south in the last hour of the day. The sunset will blind you and then you will go around a curve it will go dark then next turn you’re blinded again. It makes for a wild ride. I got to camp once when I was a teenager at the bottom of the canyon. We had rope we could grab on to after we slid down the rapids. Now I realize how crazy dangerous that was LOL!
Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit under the weather. Hopefully all clears up very soon. Nice drive, and you tok the road at a wise speed. You did find a nice camping spot. Enjoy being on the road... hugs to you and the kitties.
I was in show low when I watched this video, went to that Maverik, and salt river canyon was a experience in my big bus. The drive was beautiful for sure. Used this video to stay at oak flat campground right next to where you stayed.
Ever experienced the Clueless Camper running a Generator through the night while Disrupting Everyone else's peace and quiet.. nothing worse than spending hours or days traveling to get out in nature get your Camp all set up then have it ruined by a thoughtless person blasting a stereo or operating a loud vehicle....
If you can’t hear, you may have a ruptured eardrum. That happened to me in the spring, when I drove in the mountains when I was congested. If that’s what happened, it will heal and the hearing will come back, but it will take a few weeks.
That hwy 60 drive is pretty amazing! We did it just two weeks ago, Nov. 1st. We camped in Show Low at the Fool Hollow Rec Area. We kept an eye out in town for you and Kevin. We LOVED the Trumped Store! Came down to Mesa on hwy 60 pulling a 40 foot fifth wheel. My hubs said over and over that he was thankful for that diesel brake on our truck. We saw all kinds of semis and campers on that road. Crazy beautiful drive! Be safe. Be happy!
You certainly can shut off outside air when you run your ac. Might be a max air button, that will recirculate cabin air. But there is always a way. May have to resort to the owners manual or ask a dealer.
We were driving through the canyon to Show Low a few years back when I caught motion in my peripheral vision. Looked over, and there were two USAF fighters flying up the canyon. They were actually below us! We watched as they followed the canyon at high speed and disappeared around a bend. It was an amazing experience I wish I could do again!
If you don't have a fever, a mixture of 1T honey, 1T crushed garlic, & 1T Turmeric, mix well and take a teaspoon full every 4 hours. Makes a great natural antibiotic. If all else fails, try to see a Dr. & get some Ivermectin.. Best wishes for you new journey of trails & travels!
Nurse advice: when you have sinus congestion/drainage start always take a decongestant to keep it from building up too much pressure in the ears and an expectorant to keep from ending up with pneumonia. (Mucinex D satisfies both needs) Get well soon. Give the kitties my love.
Right there with you, fever, drainage, ears so much fun. Be careful on them switchbacks can be tricky. I did them 2 years ago and had to be towed back down to Apache Junction, still need to drive them again to conquer my fear. I will do it. Hope you feel better soon. Take care!
🐸 Glad to see your camper & toad safely maneuvered the switchbacks. At the point where you decided to pass the semi I would have been hesitant. Better to have such in front of one should it’s brakes overheat with limited areas for an out-of-control semi to pull off. Your video definitely affords other rv’ers the possibility of such an adventure.
Thank you so much for all the information on Arizona. We moved from Oregon to the Prescott area a year ago and want to explore our new state. I take all kinds of notes when I watch your videos and we plan on checking out many of the areas you have shown. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your winter travels.
Just be glad that you are not planning to travel to Cincinnati Ohio and vicinity. The city is a nice place to visit. One of the few troubles visiting Cincinnati is the weather is often unpredictable. Unless you are well prepared, you will have a lot of problems with your sinuses. If you or anyone want to visit Cincinnati and stay for a few days, ask for information from anyone who lives in the city and rest of the area. Cincinnati is a beautiful city despite of the few problems plaguing the city. There are a few respectable RV parks in the area.😀😀🙂
Hey. Watch the "hippie" slang there boy 😁😉. Some of us lived thru it and still are in our hearts. When you want to camp just be grateful with what you get. Its a nice place. Great scenery for the trip. Hope you feel better
Nice drive. Not we did it in the RV but homer & sam drove it coming back from Tucson getting a free industrial generator for the property here in Snowflake. Take care of your self. Katt
FYI Salt River Canyon is called the Little Grand Canyon. There are some white water rafting tours that embark at the bottom of the canyon. There’s a campground down there by the bridge. I’m going to check it out next time I go that way.
The scenery is beautiful. I love looking at rocks. Your campground is pretty nice and it should give you a chance to recover from the infection you have. I'm looking forward to your future travels. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie.
💔💔💔. My heart is heavy, I just found out Lola passed away right before her LolaPaloza. RIP 😇. You didn’t make it this year . But it was very nice they did a celebration of life for her❤❤❤
Yeah you we’re definitely fresh with the altitude change. That’s why your ears are the way they are and should be ok within 12 -24 hrs. Thanks for sharing and also the time lapse the other day on the property was great!!!Thanks and be safe!!!
So what can help with the ear, is make your fingers like the Volcan hand sign, and place 2 fingers behind the ear and in front and massage following your jaw line, the back 2 fingers behind and under the jaw following the jaw line to the chin, there's drainage tubes and other lymphnodes there and promoting movement along with warm/hot towel can REALLY help. I also do this weird pop thing with like the inside back of my jaw and ear that pops my ear, it helps too, I don't what that's called 😂
Just wanted to remind you and your viewers, that a carbon monoxide tester does not test RV propane gas. Only a RV propane gas detector will work. Love all you guys out there hope you have a great day
I'm not feeling well either, started feeling really bad on Saturday. No cough, no congestion just massive cold chills, body aches, and a slight fever. (At first, I thought it was food poisoning from KFC I got after work on Friday but now I know it wasn't.) Anyhoo, that is a cool spot, Opie says so too with him wanting to check it out! Enjoy your boondocking! Cheers, James
❤ i hope you feel better soon. I had my first ear infection in April and my ear, while it has improved, still feels plugged and my hearing is still not what it was. In April the doc said that it could take a while for my ear to become unplugged, and if I was really worried about my hearing to go a specialist. I’ve been putting that off because every time I put an earbud in, my hearing is just fine and the pressure goes away. It’s weird.
My allergies cause my left ear to clog. They have a spray bottle with an ear attachment on Amazon that is great for cleaning out the wax you can't reach!!! Enjoy your travels and I will be here with ya as you do!!! Belly rubs and chin scratches for the cats and safe travels!!! You have a friend in SACTOWN!!!
Haven’t checked in in a while nice to be hitting the road again, my wife and I are leaving Friday for AZ stay up in the higher elevations for a month then heading to Texas for Christmas and New Years. Will be watching the vids.
That road with the switchbacks gives me extreme anxiety! I've been on it twice in my 25 years in AZ. NEVER AGAIN. My palms were sweating watching your video. 😮
Glad you got out of the cold weather buddy. I'm about a week behind you. Michigan is just too cold in the winter any more. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.
Well, Eric, now that you’re in Arizona, you can start looking for that four season Super C RV with a garage. Time to get rid of that old, old Freida (correction, small RV) that you have now.
Snowbird Sequence Initiated, good for you! enjoy!
Cool campground.great time of the year. Awesome awesome awesome!
The warm temps ate great. Nice.
Movie night with hippies bring some special brownies
It’s legal here 😜

100% true on that sun blinding thing. Been there, done that. Finally pulled over till it was below the horizon.
But that drive is truly breathtaking.
Thanks for sharing this awesome video of the area.

I like how you Circle for Safety and check everything!

I've driven the truck and 5th wheel through there and didn't have any problems at all. Thanks for sharing the experience!!!
Pat
Nice to see you back on the road. America sure has a wild and beautiful landscape.

Thanks for the quick response
BRO.. YOU SHOULD HAVE RAN IT WITH BLACK BETTY AND THE RV!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Eric we love youuuu. Feel better. Don’t worry I’m standing six feet away from my iPad. I won’t catch it from you. Thanks for a beautiful video.

I'm actually considering looking for land in the Show Low-Concho-Vernon area.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!! Nice spot to spend a few days. Happy trails to you!! Blessings, ~Alice
You are only 42. It’s not too late to stop smoking.
Eric, put peroxide in each ear for 1-2 minutes at a time and then gargle with it twice a day for a few days. Always helps me greatly.
Peroxide is great. I always buy the food grade one

Eric would be considered a hippie in the 60s. Sometimes I believe he pushes buttons just to. Complain about who's complaining
Be careful, if the infection hits the inner ear you may get very dizzy. Cover one eye if that happens and you can maybe get to a doctor
@ERIC, TARA AND OPIE THANKS FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO WITH US. BE SAFE IN YOUR TRAVELS ❤❤
Nice drive. Not we did it in the RV but homer & sam drove it coming back from Tucson getting a free industrial generator for the property here in Snowflake.
Take care of your self. Katt
yess, score, an eric video to watch with dinner ! that makes my night.
YOU ARE THE BEST CONTENT CREATOR!! SO MUCH EFFORT CAN BE SEEN THROUGH YOUR VIDEOS!!
Put A/C on Max that's recirculate on Fords
It's always a good idea to walk around your rig and check things out every time you stop.
FYI Salt River Canyon is called the Little Grand Canyon.

We used to go tubing all the time on the salt river. They rent tubes and have a bus system. It's pretty cool.
Come see us at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, we are just down the road, we volunteer here for the winter, you would love it, there is day rv parking
My vote is for Cracker Barrel , come on good food safe spot can’t go wrong.
15:17 ❤❤❤❤
HAPPY Thanks, Giving😊

I'd ride back up that road you just came down. It looks awesome
It’s worth it if you’re not a scaredy cat. Lots of passing lanes. Eric’s RV did great.
@@azlady8102 I'd definitely ride my Harley up and down it. And stop and get pictures.
@@SuperHddeuce stopping for pics is a MUST!!!
Definitely going to and that road to my list.
@SuperHddeuce One of my youngest's fav HD ride. He, his older brother and dad have done it a time or 2.
Feel better soon.
Welcome to the SouthernBell Southern South Again Eric😊
American Made Vehicles only recirculate on Max Air .
Good to see you back on the road!
Ooooohopeyoufeeeeeeellbetter oh great one😮
Hope you feel better. That was not a bad spot.
One of the great things about AZ is Where else can you water ski and snow ski within 2 1/2 HRS of each other
Hippies! Lol!
Yeah you we’re definitely fresh with the altitude change. That’s why your ears are the way they are and should be ok within 12 -24 hrs. Thanks for sharing and also the time lapse the other day on the property was great!!!Thanks and be safe!!!
Hope you start feeling better!
I love being in the passenger seat (virtually) while you’re driving but man I’m dizzy 😵💫 😂❤
Eric I used to take my semi 80,000
Lbs down that road. Piece of cake. Thank God for engine breaks
I have camped at Oak Flat campground a lot. It’s a nice campground. Different, but nice. I like it.
Enjoy the warm weather. Safe travels.
Feel better Eric.
MAX A/C setting should shut out, outside air and only recirculate
Thanks for sharing
Wow, I wouldn’t go down that road! Glad you found a camping spot. Hope your ear opens up before you continue on.🥰😻😻

Feel better !
Yep, my husband took that route and he was driving a uhaul and it was pretty scary!
Hope you feel better soon.
You can definitely hear that you’re driving in Arizona with all the banging and noise from our lovely smooth roads.
❤ i hope you feel better soon.
I had my first ear infection in April and my ear, while it has improved, still feels plugged and my hearing is still not what it was. In April the doc said that it could take a while for my ear to become unplugged, and if I was really worried about my hearing to go a specialist.

I've found a few. I will make that change eventually. :)
I'm heading out to AZ this winter. Im getting excited. Thanks for the great vid.
Awesome video
Trust Opie!!! He’s a good boy!!! 😇
Thank you for the video Eric, Hang in there you will get better
Look for oil of oregano capsules...it works great for a cold.
Amazing views 👍 thanks for sharing and no ads , there's another channel that has way too many
Hey Eric! Love what you’re doing 😊
Awe, that's so not a good feeling with stopped up, deafing ears. I hope you feel better soon.
I loved the driving views.
Nice to see you on the road again. Try a decongestant to relieve the pressure in your ears and sinuses.
