    If you look closely, the Minor 6 chord is just the same as the minor 7 flat 5 just inverted. Hence why it works so well with the movements shown.

    This gave me a lot of knowledge. The Fm6 and Dm7b5 have same chordal tones. It is just a inversion.

    Thank you so much...yesterday I was thinking of how to use a minor6 but didnt know where to apply it. Funny enough i was thinking of the concept of 2 5 1 when going to a minor and as well as a major. Kindly there is a concept i saw from a UA-camr (cory Taylor on the differences). Could you take us through?

    Well, no . . . the Dominant chord is the 5th, so in the key of C, the "dominant" chord is G.
