There is 78 towns in Puerto Rico, San Juan is just one of them. Go to the center of Puerto Rico or other towns, you are going to find more affordable food and some of them give more for what you paid for.

Were you said eateries... you pass by a great theatre (Plays). At the end of plaza Colón (Not park). Teatro Tapia (Alejandro Tapia y Rivera). Of course looks alike, we have spaniard heritage and begining. Manolín is a kind of cafeteria for the employees. Very everyday savory dishes. I love that you interested in our history. 🙂

You should rent a car and visit Dorado, Rincón, Isabela, Camuy. It take 1 to 2 hours from San Juan. For the Highway De Diego or PR - 22. West. - and Ponce for the highway PR - 52. South of the island. Are beautiful places and more…

Old San Juan is not a proper sample of the rest of the island; it's just a small bubble owned mostly by foreigners (except Barrio La Perla, perhaps). I'm glad you are there visiting and documenting, though. Cheers!

Old San Juan Destroyed? 😆 🤣 😂 San Juan is 501 years old built for Battles .... There is a history of 5 battles: the attack on El Morro in 1595 by Sir Francis Drake; a second attack on El Morro and the city by Sir George Clifford, another Englishman, in 1598; a siege of El Morro by the Dutch in 1625; an invasion by 7,000 British troops and 64 warships under the command of General Ralph Abercromby..

Not yet , people like you taking and making this kind of videos is the reason why slowly but surely are destroying it by not respecting and explaining to others the importance of it .
You tourist only come , trash the area and then go back to whatever you came from . Lousy at nights not respecting the residential areas and houses.
Other than that , please tell your tourist fellows that whenever they visit they must keep it down and respectful .
