OMG i thought there weren't any tutorials for this song!! ( for some strange reason) and then BAM i found this, i love you, i love you, and i love you for putting this up. Seriously I LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! LIKE A LOT
This is Denis from Paris, France. Thank you for this guitar tutorial, very helpful ! I'm rehearsing with my niece June from the US, for a little show we will play for the family.
Wow I love it. U did amazing! I think u are 1 of the best guitar teachers ever. Thanks for commenting on my video I love how much u support both me and my music:) -Sarah
Oh my gosh!!!!! YAY:) ur back on youtube. How was Europe? I bet it was amazing. You are one of my favorite guitar teachers. Your doing great. I haven't been on youtube in awhile...but now I have a good reason to check every day!!!! Your doing great. BTW I love this song. So beautiful!
that was pretty good! thanks, i wish a lot of tutorials were like this. you went through everything pretty smoothly and presented it in a way for beginner guitarists (like me) to comprehend properly. a lot of people don't do strum patterns, since that can be easy to figure out, but for beginners it's still kind of difficult to figure those things out. oh, and you're cute! ahah ;P
@theprorider1 if you mean the capo (the black clamp on the second fret), then yes, without it you can still play the song, however the chords will be different. If you mean the sound hole cover (the patterned piece in the centre of my guitar), then no, that's not a necessity ;-)
@cutieabby08 Of course, i'm playing on an acoustic, but if I were to plug it into my amp (the one in the video is acoustic/electric) or use my electric guitar, i'd still use the exact same chords ;-)
@DreamAndBelieve101 A lot of times it is because you have your fingers to far back from the fret bar. If yo uput your fingers closer to the fret bar it helps. Also you may not have the strings pressed down all the way. Hope it helps :)
@LordofSweets Technically, your guitar teacher is right in that the way he/she has taught you is the 'correct' way of playing an open A chord. I personally feel that the way I play it makes it easier & more efficient to get to. It all depends on whats most comfortable for the individual player, as long as the correct strings are being held down then it really doesn't matter. That being said, I don't want to go against your teacher, so you should probably learn it the way they're teaching you ;-)
I love this soo much u have helped me heaps thanxs :) ur awesome I love u and it's great to hear ur Aussie there are to many Americans on utube cause I'm Aussie to thanxs again i now can play it :)
im obsessed with your videos. i have bieber fever and i was wondering if you could do a beginers tutorial on "One less lonely girl" by justin bieber. your the only person whose videos make sense, so if you could do it i would be so thankfull. thanks
@allewis86 Do I have to play that strumming pattern? I know most of the songs u learn out has that pattern but I have really hard time playing it but I play something that sounds pretty much the same but is a little different. can I do that?
i noticed the4 way you hold the A chord, me personally i hold it with my second finger on the fourht string then first finger on 3rd string then 3rd figner on 2nd string. Personally i like ur way better but my teacxher says i shud hold it like the way i said above any thoughts?
@lauranicole1228 These are the easiest and most accurate chords to use sweetie, without a capo you'll be looking at difficult barre chords that require a fair amount of guitar skill and a lot of movement along the fret board. If you don't have a capo that's not a problem, simply copy and paste this ===> "How to Make guitar capo with 3 elastics and a pencil" into the youtube search bar and watch the video ;-)
Wait, so what was the chord used in the very beginning? I don't know that the D position is, or whatever it's called. Can somebody please explain? (: thanks. Oh and Allewis86, you are freaking amazing(:

wait im confused when u said that the strummimg pattern is DDDDDUDDD in the beginning, and then you said the one that u use in most of ur videos is DDDDUUDDDU, when do you lift your middle finger for the special d chord using the ssecond way strummimg?
First of all this is beautiful! thank you! you explain it so well!!! :-) also did anybody ever tell you you look like maggie gyllenhaal?! dont worry - that is a compliment! :-)
@LilMissBabyAlex yes you need a capo but if you dont have one type on the search box "how to make guitar capo with 3 elastics and a pencil" thats what i did :)
