    I got this gun a few days ago. I got the 1.3 I nozzle RP. I laughed after I did a complete last night. No buff. Clear looks flawless.... Absolutely amazing. It's the best gun I've ever used. Hands down

      Bro I have a question. I have the sata x5500 1.3 oval nozzle .the set up is 2 turns ..my questions is am I supposed to pull all the trigger down? Half fan width or full fan? I'm getting good finish at half fan at 35 Psi and not pulling the trigger all the way down. In just playing WIth my fingers and my hand. It rare to get runs with this method... But t I'm not sure if I'm doing it right

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  5 років тому +1

      You should be running full fan , 2.0 bar air pressure and turns depends on your speed as far as fluid goes but I’d personally set it so you pull the trigger fully

    Great review Tony, & I can see the results are fantastic so I’ve bought the same setup. Been a SATA user for 30 years since first using a SATAjet 90 in 1990. Looking forward to putting down great clear off the gun. Cheers.

    Hi Tony, looking to buy this, do you think the 1.2 is better for clear rather than the 1.3? Also have you tried solid through it? I do a fair amount of commercial work so wondering if a 1.3/1.4 would suit better? (Separate gun to the clear obviously) any help would be appreciated! I’ve been running my 4400 for a too long now 😂

    Hi Tony IV been spraying since 1979, first spray gun jga devilbliss 30 cap solid then 43 cap base ,so then went to SATA nr95 ,then to SATA 3000 RP O .Then jumped to sagola gto I 1.3 .A ok gun .So at 60 years old I'm looking for a new gun .I'v started to get the odd run here and there 1.3 set up . Looking at this gun in your video ,I think il try 1.2 set up ,at my age so many guns coming out. I do like SATA guns ,the storys i could tell you in the bodyshop make you laugh

      Brilliant mate. Apparently this new devilviss dv1 is meant to be a game changer better atomization better transfer efficiency. Hey I may even do a review myself although my camera skills and public speaking wouldn't be anywhere near your videos. Who supplies all the guns for you to review or do you have to pay for them out of your own pocket. I have to say I've never really been a fan of sata but this gun looks pretty sick. I was blown away by the review you did on the supernova but this sata looks like it could be a market leader

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  6 років тому

      The supernova review I actually filmed back in July I’ve just been mad busy so not had chance to edit and upload anything and it is a great gun for the money , and yeah I’ve heard that so it’s just a case of we will have to see how it stands up compared to the sata now I think , we are now sponsored by www.pmpsupplies.co.uk they supplied the sata for review for us , prior to this pretty much every gun bar the sagola has been from my own pocket mate which is what’s made it hard to do gun reviews honestly having a family I just can’t fork out £400 here £500 there for a gun just to review but now we have pmp supplies working with us channel wise it gives me a little more scope to add more content for you guys and more regularly too which will be really nice for both viewers and myself but we aren’t paid by them to give good reviews ect all reviews will stay unbiased and honest and that was agreed , that’s what we built The channel on and that’s what it shall remain going forward

    • @TonysRefinishingTV

      honestly both are good its just the shape of the fan pattern no the width ect , you could paint areas like that just by turning the fan down a little and then adjusting the pressure down to suit so you had it more accurate for specific items , wheels for instance i turn my fan down for and drop my pressure slightly to suit there fiddly shape ect

      Was a high end uhs clear but I can’t say what I’m afraid I’m not allowed to yet , if I had been a little braver and gone 3 turns or more it would have been a lot quicker and a lot wetter but most of time I prefer to spray in a controlled way so I can adjust the paint lay down to the finish I’m looking for off the gun
