Rice is something made up in our heads a way of shaming someone’s creativity, if you don’t accept someone’s owns car build then you should call yourself a car guy. Some people are scared to express their creativity and out crazy mods on their car in fear of being called a ricer sadly. Most builds now are “Clean” or half assed.

@@nixionchang3966 well, this is because the majority of people use "rice" as a way to say "your car is ugly", tho its really not what it is. Rice has many definitions but the one that most people seem to agree on is "race inspired cosmetic enhancements", wich just means if someone says to you that you have a riced out car and he knows the meaning of the word, than he just wants to say that your car is just about the looks and that there is nothing underneath the hood.
Edit: in depth about the "race inspired" part: this means stuff like stickers, spoilers, tire lettering and stuff like that that you see on nascars for example. So if your car is a ford fiesta and looks like its dressed as a nascar for carnival, youre probably a ricer. Its just that certain "mods" dont belong on certain cars.
My friend and I who both got into old JDM cars from Initial D came to an agreement that he's getting a FD and I'm getting a FC. Fingers crossed that I get military stationing in Japan so I can find and examine ones in person

FC3S新車で大切に乗ってたけど、つるんで走ってた知り合いが僕の後ろで事故で僕の目の前で亡くなって、
怖くなって手放した。慣性ドリ研究してたから自分もヤバかったかも？でも良い車だった。
ダウンヒルで高速慣性ドリしても、ゆっくりしか流れないし、ゼロカウンターでなんとなく出来た。
一度も事故せず手放した。市街地でもドリフトしてたし。今考えたら100％狂ったガキですね。
