I've had several soundbars and a surround sound package but it was only when I purchased an budget AVR and a pair of budget stereo speakers that I realised what I had been missing (stereo imaging, thumping base) besides going down this route one can always add to it overtime! subwoofer, surround speakers you could even get height speakers to get the full 'non-virtual' Dolby Atmos experience. Nowadays AVRs are so simple to setup, they even walk you through the process! "Remember movies are made up of 50% visuals and 50% audio and there are occasions when the audio out does the visuals"
Sorry im a bit late to the party but you seem to know a lot about it, im searching for a good home cinema package with ceiling speakers for around 600- 800 euros. Can you help me with some info because there is a lot i don’t understand of dolby atmos and creating a good sound setup
the logitech has the most amazing sound and deep deep bass that you want, it's so impressive, i rather have it than a normal radio system setup, to me, nobody has the type of bass

i would take the z5500 over the 906
Z906 satellites are way better than the 5500 ones. I just added a Z2300 subwoofer so now it makes an AWESOME mix.
If you're spending a thousand on a TV then spend another and get an AVR.
