I just think that Vanilla Ice was young and didn't really understand the big picture at that time. He was exploited and got caught up in it.
there's no denying that vanilla ice was a "flavour of the month" and that he was whored about by himself and the studio, but i do give him credit for never going bankrupt. so many one hit wonders end up in the news because, once the money is gone, they've turned to drugs, violence, or other criminal acts, but vanilla ice managed to be smart with his money. he went through some hard times and now he's happy with a family and living life. i give him credit.
Alot smarter then people give him credit for. Also, had more than one hit. People are fickle though...he has stood the test of time. In my opinion, he's improving, of anything...he truly does appreciate his fans. His humility goes a long way. I think his star is rising once again, but it is mature and enduring
Why talk shit about how he looks? Have u guys seen what artists look like these days? It's no better now than it was then.
