It seems to be hit or miss with them and so far I have been fortunate with their products. My scx24’s on the other hand have proven very durable however two of four esc/rx’s have failed. I’ll be posting videos of this truck over the next several months and will not hold back if there is a failure with it. Thanks for sharing your experience!
On the first run mine had a broken light wire that they use to double as a limiting strap, a stripped portal gear carrier, and a brace on the roll bar. With the gear carrier glued the next run stripped another different carrier. So far running 1/2 hour. Later nearly no speed an no torque at all. The esc they sent me with a $55.98 bill including another part came and came with another radio. The esc will not bind to the new radio nor the older radio. Both radios bind to the older gimpy esc/receiver. I spent almost the cost of this damned thing on trying to get it to work and it still is useless. The best upgrade to an fms24 is a total replacement to another brand. Any other brand.
Wowza that’s a bummer situation! I’ve run this one on the micro course and twice at the park, I’ll be monitoring mine and uploading some run footage soon. Hoping they worked through a quality issue and that it’s not across the product line. Thank you for sharing your experience, knowledge is key.
@@SonoranScaleStudios I believe I got a lemon. They seem to be sturdy enough generally for what they are. I like mine a lot. footage is when it was fairly new with new wheels and tires, cosmetic changes and the portals all glued up. Seems like a long time ago. ua-cam.com/channels/_Bdw3SLB5IA81TR2nIM7-g.html
Looks really cool! Looking forward to some crawling videos with it. Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend!🙂👍
The first run video will post Sunday! It just received new tires, wheels and brass……that video next week…..thank you for watching 👍
*Perfect*
Pass!! With FMS and Roc Hobby you'll always strike major electronic issues with time and sometimes from the get go.
