Love you Mama Lina ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Shes the sweetest kindest wonderful woman. Never takes a break except for church. Those boys of hers are great. Love them all. Miss working in the market and getting our veggies from them.
I loved the meat market a fish throw away from the fish throwers. Frozen pig snoots to boil and make sandwiches with. And Ah, across the street the best filipino food ever.
Yes, as she said in another interview, it was an arranged marriage. Her parents arranged it for her. She was brought to the US and immediately worked in that fruit stand. She made the most of her situation and brought many members of her family (legally) to the US. A very selfless human being. 👍 I've seen in another vid that she has retired from that fruit stand - June 30th was her last day of selling there. Her son still probably handles the store.
Thank you for airing this family's beautiful story. Her Mom & Dad raised her right. God bless her!
WOW love mini-featurettes like these on the hidden gems of folks who make communities stronger & longlasting legacies like Lola Lina

What a woman, I hope modern women are listening.
Amen! Serving God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, and not through Mary or the saints
She really does get giddy when it comes to Elvis 😂
Sounds to me like she was more or less forced to marry. This man than forced to work in the market.
