Good to hear this man has turned his life around and has seen the light ..... lifes a journey and sometimes opportunity s present themselves and you get drawn into certain situations . Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I think everybody in later life regrets things that they did in their youth but you can't change the past only learn from it . Paddys obvious turned his life around and thats a credit to him .

Similar upbringing to me Dad and Granda. Me dad on bikes called boneshakers and always outside playing with knives, guns, spears and bows & arrows. Believe it or not in Cumbria at that time a larl gang of working lads could walk about with shotguns blasting crows out the sky without the authorities blinking. Good old days.. Taking birds eggs, collecting smush off shore, sunday school, film night in the one house in road with a tellie, having kack fights on me great uncle's farm. Baby boomer life!

A met paddy in 92 till 96 and wen summit seems to good to be true it normally is, not in paddy's case, he is what y see. Read his book, the alter boy.
Duffy run the northeast? That would suggest he had people working for him in every corner of the region. I cant remember hearing about this big opperation of his, that made him untouchable, and unchallanged. Im not saying he was'nt a hard bloke because clearly he was, but running the northeast, I doubt it.
