that's an interesting point. but truthfully tourist spots can be annoying. for instance if you went to a concert to see your favorite artist but then got crushed by the crowd. you knew it was a concert right? why did you go? 🤔 that said i'm pretty sure you can tell by our smiles we had an amazing time and what you haven't seen yet is our private tour where we go back to the same spots with no people. True we expected it to be less people. True we went another 6 times to the same places. True it was amazing and 5 months later we are still here. ❤️
I agree. There are far more tourists that much of the footage suggests. It is an incredibly beautiful area but el Nido is not for me especially the town and las cabanas. I did really enjoy Duli beach in the north. Coron although still very developed has a more authentic feel. But Port Barton by far my favourite in Palawan. Thanks for your video

Locals there said that during the pandemic, sharks are the only tourist on those tourist spots. Now that the people returned, they are driven away again. Since the pandemic ended, people wants to travel again and enjoy. And the number 1 destination is palawan. So there are really lots of tourist, both locals and foreigners. And since you choose Tour C, which is cheaper among the tour choices, there are lots of locals and foreigners who also pick that tour package. And never go on tourist spots on weekends. Go on weekdays. Most of the people are busy on weekdays, especially locals. By the way, you really make a beautiful place like palawan, more beautiful because of your skill/talent in photography. Amazing shots bro!

I went there 9 years ago. Then it was still an undiscovered paradise. I still remember. Only 1 hotel and no ATM in El Nido. Still by far my best Holliday ever. Not so much tourist like in this video. We easily could take pictures with no people on it. It is paradise on earth.
Objectively, thank you for showing the pros and cons of public tours. With this being said, it is called public for the reasons you had shown in this video. Options are offered because comfort levels have their own prices. Even in other countries, the trend is the same. You want to enjoy and be entitled to the highest comfort level, then be ready to pay the price that corresponds to it. A little bit of refinement in providing objective insights and you would enjoy the support of many viewers specifically Filipino subscribers to your channel:). Good luck!

Just been their last aug.. the weather is not that sunny but still you can see the amzing view of the island ,the rock formation ,torquiose water and most esp. the faces of the tourists enjoying the kayak ,And for my own exp. it just like you’re in a real disney sea 😀
Looks absolutely amazing. Planning to go in January. I know to expect a lot of people, I've done similar tours in Thailand. Don't know if this is the case with all the El Nido tours, but it seems the stops of 30-40 minutes are quite short, especially considering the distance of 60-90 minutes between them.

Maybe you can try a sugarcane field as a background, Negros island is the place, either you plane by Bacolod city or Dumaguete, more picture perfect for travel
The only difference between the private and public tours is the amount of people on your boat, not the amount of people at each stop. The only time that might be different is your very first stop of the day, and that's only if your private boat heads out early enough. After your first stop you'll find crowds just like you did in the video. Want to avoid the crowds? Go just before rainy season (May/June) or just after rainy season (Oct/Nov). Yeah, you run the risk of getting a bit of rain but more often than not it won't last long and the sun will be right back.
True but also if you have a favorite spot you can sit there 4 hours with no complaints. Also you can ask your captain to take you to the best spots while everyone is eating and you can come and go as you please. That flexibility for us, makes it worth it!
If you want to avoid the tourist either you do the kayaking nearest island it’s the cheapest but sporty or Private tour can be less expensive if you can find another couple he can touristy spot and go later ✌🏼🇫🇷

If you are on a boat, your gear is with the crew, usually in waterproof bags, casings. If you are at a public beach, most of your gear is in the hotel room. Also you can film with a gopro which you can have with you at all times. Depends on the situation. But i would never leave an expensive camera on the beach unattended.

No doubt it is gorgeous. But the hype some selfie stick travellers are making can make people get skeptical. Hyping it to get subscribers has been the norm and when travelers get there, they dissappointed. To be fair, El Nido is great. But not everyone is a fan of package tours, which is served like dishes on a restaurant menu. The place just becomes a parking lot for little boats to take people island hopping. El Nido is expensive for long term travelers. But if one has money, it is a must.

nothing at all. we really loved the tour. We had seen some pictures with no people there and what we realized is if you want it to be empty like in the pics you should take a private tour. Still, we had a great time!
True but if you went into a movie theater for the release of a new film 🍿 and realized there were no seats and you had to sit on the floor, you may enjoy the movie just like we did, but it would still be a healthy surprise that you sat on the floor... or... if you flew to Disneyland in Los Angeles but found out you could only go on a few rides because there were so many people, you might love it, but it's still a healthy discussion to mention it was crowded. They are all about the same. However, we quickly discovered private tours which of course are more but allow you to go to all the locations at the right times to maximize the privacy of the experience!
That’s the pros and cons of social media. Nature is still beautiful, though, despite the large number of tourists. Try to do Tao Expedition. It’s more of a solemn experience. Have fun!

We saw a lot of beautiful pics before we came of El Nido with couples in them and no one around on a few pages or landscapes with no one in the pics. So that is what we expected. The reality is that there is a lot of people, however, it is extremely beautiful and later we find out if you take a private tour you can find alone time. Thank you! 🤩
Actually you can. Just take a private tour. You can go to many of the same spots or alternative spots during lunch and you'll have it to yourselves. That's partly why we make these videos to share our experiences and tell the viewer how to maximize theirs. I think this was our first tour out of about 25 we went on in the Philippines and it was still amazing! The title is El Nido: Even better than we expected! 🤗

John, we had a great time on the tour! We were all smiles. What we did learn is that if you take a private boat, when everyone is at lunch eating for a couple of hours you can visit your favorite spots and have a lot of privacy. I shoot landscape images for magazines. Personally i don't mind the people, but specifically the red life jackets distract from the beauty of the magazine images. Hope you are well! 🤩💯

No doubt it is gorgeous. But the hype some selfie stick travellers are making can make people get skeptical. Hyping it to get subscribers has been the norm and when travelers get there, they dissappointed. To be fair, El Nido is great. But not everyone is a fan of package tours, which is served like dishes on a restaurant menu. The place just becomes a parking lot for little boats to take people island hopping. El Nido is expensive for long term travelers. But if one has money, it is a must.

Did you google “when is the best time to go to el nido” before going to this place? All you can hear from this vlog is negativity and complaining about to many people. You took a public tour so expect to see more people. If you want less people take a private and early morning tour.

nothing at all. we really loved the tour. We had seen some pictures with no people there and what we realized is if you want it to be empty like in the pics you should take a private tour. Still, we had a great time!
A lot of hidden gems that you can find in the Philippines. You should try Balabac Island in Palawan as well.

They are all about the same. However, we quickly discovered private tours which of course are more but allow you to go to all the locations at the right times to maximize the privacy of the experience!

We saw a lot of beautiful pics before we came of El Nido with couples in them and no one around on a few pages or landscapes with no one in the pics. So that is what we expected. The reality is that there is a lot of people, however, it is extremely beautiful and later we find out if you take a private tour you can find alone time. Thank you! 🤩

Actually you can. Just take a private tour. You can go to many of the same spots or alternative spots during lunch and you'll have it to yourselves. That's partly why we make these videos to share our experiences and tell the viewer how to maximize theirs. I think this was our first tour out of about 25 we went on in the Philippines and it was still amazing! The title is El Nido: Even better than we expected! 🤗

John, we had a great time on the tour! We were all smiles. What we did learn is that if you take a private boat, when everyone is at lunch eating for a couple of hours you can visit your favorite spots and have a lot of privacy. I shoot landscape images for magazines. Personally i don't mind the people, but specifically the red life jackets distract from the beauty of the magazine images. Hope you are well! 🤩💯
You should visit CALAGUAS ISLAND. It's same as CAMIGUIN ISLAND it's not crowded.

May i ask you a question? If you went to Disneyland and couldn't get on more than 2 rides because there were 1000s of people. And you traveled all the way to California to do that, would you be smiling and would you have as much fun as we did in the video? We highly recommend the Philippines. That said a lot of those content creators have millions upon millions of views on their videos (not us we are new and learning) and have done terrific things for the Filipino economy. The more creators vlog, the more awareness we bring. The way we phrased that probably sounded bad but we have about 18 different videos 60,000 watch hours that are positive.
