In open water, what are your thoughts about trolling a line or two behind the kayak while actively casting another?

You did really good for no practice, I really like these tournaments you do, that area looked awesome, the magdraft will catch bigguns you just have to commit to throwing it all day, I don't know if you follow TB or not but they catch them on it! 🎣👍

i say try big rubber worms and the hellgrammite on deeper gravel points - you need the fish painter to find out where all the fish are - imo - it could help - get a good one though, maybe with side scan or whatever the newest tech is - maybe use more than one transducer

He edited it out, but he tried. He said it was stuck and he couldn't get it out. I would have kept and ate it. 😂
the other fishes dorsal fins would have been like a 7 barbed hook. goes in easy but impossible to pull out without snapping the fin off.
