Parting Kiwian and co did prepare "hidden" strategies (like drop 9 banelings to blow up command posts) but basicly every "hidden" strategy got nerfed to the death by the patch before the tournament weekend. 2. Parting seem to have some influce in getting titanscausebanned so we only had a 3 map mappool for the tournament, dont get me wrong the map is bad and imbalanced but jagged maw is so much worse, beowolf called it the "biggest scam in stormgate history" to get titan banned but maw still in game 3. Parting even with openly saying that "jagged maw needs strategy and mind" told everyone privatly that this is the worst map in rts history 4. Parting did really dislike jagged maw but that doesnt meant he would not choose it every single time :) 5. Parting had a very hidden build for jagged maw where you have a 3 minute drop that totaly destroys the enemy if he goes for the catapult by playing a fast dual shrine build in the base with having a shire super close to gas to have massiv gas income while having (a bug?) making it possible that with 2 shrine you can have more then 12 workers work on luminite. 6. After Parting did not need the strategy he prepared so much hidden in the tournament he played his directly in his first ladder game after the tournamant
I was waiting for players to use imps and blow stuff up, it was the thing I remembered the most about mechanics from the previews. And then it took forever for anyone to really use them. Finally!
Yeah they used to be even more powerful if you can believe it, then FG nerfed them quite significantly and most players stopped using them. PartinG just goes to show how effective they can be though!
I wanted Probe to win this match so bad. It was so hype when he found an answer to the early from PartinG. If PartinG didnt have those imps man, it could have been different lol

Parting is so insane he already has some of the best control and strategys in the game when it isent even out yet
