It is very hard to lose an animal .I am the one with the backhoe, and all the farmers call me when they need to bury animals. It's never an easy thing for me . Praying for you and your family.

A loss of a beloved animal is no small thing, especially a horse. There's a special bond between the animals on the farm and you. So sorry for your loss and Pete will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss....Pete went over the rainbow bridge and is dancing with all of our beloved pets that left us to soon.....❤️🐾
Spray peppermint inside the combine several times a year, also they have mouse and rat repellent that is organic and lasts 3 months you can use the same bags with some peppermint oil. I use in on my farm when the camper is here.
Heart breaks when you lose a close family member...prayer for you and your family and the animals missing Pete.
I grew up green breaking horses for my dad and the best cutting horse he ever owned I green broke for him. I ended up getting the horse when I lived in Wyoming Colorado and Montana. Brought him back to Texas and went on with my life, he died with his head in my lap few years ago. He was 23 yrs old and very tuff. Amazing how we get attached to the beautiful animals.

I don't know how many times I have gone back and checked gates. Sometimes, though, you get sidetracked. Farms are busy, busy places. Things go so fast. Always tough to lose an animal friend. Saw one of our cows get bit by a ground hog. THE way your horse was bitten by the dog. She threw it about fifteen feet straight up. Ground hog landed, cow took over. No more ground hog!
Farming is a wonderful way of life, but nobody ever said it's easy. 🙏

Prayers to you all, it's so sad when things like this happen. Years back I had to bury fifteen horses that were in a barn fire, ugh, I couldn't sleep that night, it was horrible.
So Sorry for your loss. It's especially hard for kids. One other channel I watch has t shirts that say "Rule #1 of farming....CLOSE THE GATE".
