Thank you so much for your lovely vlog of your trip. You two are adorable and I so enjoyed your humor and your honesty. My husband and I are preparing and training to do the WHW in spring of 2023. We are significantly older than the two of you, but I think with preparation we can do it. I am grateful for your descriptions of your first aid measures and clothing/gear choices. Very helpful. I know it takes a lot of time and organization to do the photography and drone shots, but your photos are so beautiful and inspire me to learn to film and photograph on the go. Congrats on your successful walk!
I have no idea how we missed such an incredible comment but wow. Thanks so much. Honestly, it's one of the best things you'll ever do. Emma swore she would never do it again but after completing it in 2020 she also did it again in 2021! She says it's addictive 🤣 the most important thing you need is determination with that (and decent boots) you will smash it! Thanks again for your lovely comment. Xx
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😁 we are so jealous of you doing it. We'd swore we'd never do it again but I'm getting itchy feet!!! Enjoy every single second. 👍
Many congratuations on your epic journey. Im, going to re-do it next Spetember time after doing the Dales Way in May 2022. Walking the Coast to Coast and, maybe, the Pennine Way in 2023 and then one of my ultimate walks - The Southwest Coastal Path (630 miles) in 2024. This is also the year I celebrate my 50th. An added celebration on completion, hopefully. Not made a date for the 1068 mile walk yet, but ive started planning for it, being The Welsh Coast path (Prestatyn to Chepstow) then The Offa's Dyke Path from Chepstow to Prestatyn straight up to make it a wierd circle route. The UK end walk will be Lands End to John O'Groats - 1200 miles. I have not started to plan this yet. Wishing you all the very best on your next journey. Congratulations to you both.
Hi you two, just watched you do the last two days and I want to tell you that you brought a big wide smile to my face. You are a pair of natural comedians who seem more than able to find the fun in the nonsense of a long walk like this. My wife Carmen has done the WHW twice, and her first experience was a bit like yours I think. Bursting into tears at the sight of any ascent was a regular feature. She did go back for a second time though after working on her fitness and had a much better time of it. I think that's what made me smile about your adventure, that you just thought let's go and do this thing and then went on to do it. It's a great achievement for you, out of reach for many people, so well done. Thanks so much for coming to Scotland and sharing how wonderful it is, and thanks again for the gift of that broad smile, I needed that after this year. Have a good new year when it comes.
This is such a lovely message. Wow, thank you for taking the time to watch our vlogs. We appreciate it. We said we'd never do it again but Emma has already agreed to do it again with her dad! We just can't get enough 😁
@@inourcase I did a four day walk in the Cairngorms with my Dad in the late 80's staying overnight at different bothies. It was amazing. He's still alive now, 85 in just over a week, and it's still something we talk about. Enjoy your adventures.
Hi there just finished watching your WHW videos and loved them👍I live in Milngavie and did the walk in six days in 2019 with a friend and enjoyed it .Keep up the videos as they are very true and honest.
Guys, that was amazing. I’ve walked it many times but only discovered UA-cam videos of walking routes during COVID! Your videos are excellent. Some pain but lots of fun and I laughed a few times there. Thank you for sharing. I’ll be watching for your next adventure.
Anyone who has had to walk down a hill backwards will know exactly how Adam was feeling. Great effort both and Emma you are a little pocket rocket. Great effort both and as you arrived a the "final final" end.. I sat here and clapped, congratulations. atb Alan
Thank you so so much for all your lovely comments Alan. So glad you enjoyed it. Emma is doing it again in September with her Dad! She's crazy. I'm staying at home on the sofa, take care, Adam 😁
My wife and I have just binge watched the last 3 episodes and really enjoyed them. At the end she said “ It actually feels as though we’ve met them both and almost walked with them” Well done both of you. Hope all you’re aches and pains have gone now. (P.S. we also said never again after we did the Coast to Coast but guess what? We’ve just organised another walk for Spring next year.)
Ahhhh thanks for watching. It's weird isn't it because when we finished we said the same thing. Never again. And I'm kinda of missing it. We are definitely planning more walking holidays. 😂
Hey guys, well done, felt every emotion with you. Did the second half of WHW last month over five days meandering and staying in luxury accommodation. Doing the whole WHW in April 21 wild camping over six days/five nights. After watching this I can't wait to go. Loved the honesty lets people know what to expect. (sore feet and blisters).
Congratulations & well done guys. We have loved every one of your videos & I can’t tell you how much you have inspired me to keep planning. Thank you so much for you honesty & thank you so much for the laughs. I for one will be watching each day over & over again. xxx
Well done to both of you, you did really well with all your blisters aches and pains, my husband and i love Scotland especially Glencoe its a place you want to return to as im sure you both will, look forward to your next video.
Absolutely loved your video guys,I would love to do the west highland way .I retire this Xmas and it's on my bucket list .would do the same as you two and make it as comfortable as possible was amazed Emma did it again would love to hear about that.Xx
Ahhhhhh thanks so much Catherine. You will have a ball honestly. It's addictive! A video regarding Emma's 2nd attempt will be landing on the channel soon 🙌👀
Well done to the both of yous, ive just watched them all from day one and enjoyed every one of them. So thanks for sharing your journey with us. Can i say this without sounding cheeky because its not ment to be but "drone boy" reminds me of Karl Pilkington. 😄👌
Only recently found these. We are currently doing a virtual version of this due to lockdown but intend to try out for real when we can. I’m not sure we could do this in 7 days as I would have to stop to take photos every few hundred yards (I’m a landscape photographer). Well done on completing and thanks for the videos
I'd definitely give yourself more time. Especially if you're gonna be thinking long exposures etc. Even stopping for a quick shot of a nice view, you'd run out of daylight each day. It's breathtaking.
Great videos - thanks for sharing your adventure. The west highland way is addictive though.... I’ll bet your ‘never again’ has already turned into ‘when can we go again?!?’ ;-)
Hi, Just completed all your WHW clips and must say they were really enjoyable in one afternoon, very well done to both of you I even missed the Celtic victory over Hamilton Sitting here in Ottawa Canada and we have 2 feet on snow. looking to get back in 202 (April or May) to do the WHW again number 5 coming up it has that effect on you, once again fantastic video's.
At the beginning I didn’t reckon you would make it however gladly you proved me wrong well done you both deserve a pat on the back, I also enjoyed your banter as your personalities compliment each other, next stop The Cape Wrath Way😂
What a lovely, honest vlog. I’m wild camping this in two weeks and can’t wait!
Thank you so much. Your comment was two weeks ago (sorry for being rude). You're probably on the Way now. Hope it's dry for you. 🤞🏻

Well done to you both! I've done the walking backwards downhill too - not a long term strategy!
The irony was not lost on me. Longing for downhill for the majority and then when we finally got it, I wanted a climb. 🤦🏻♂️ - Adam
Great videos - thanks for sharing your adventure.
The west highland way is addictive though.... I’ll bet your ‘never again’ has already turned into ‘when can we go again?!?’ ;-)
Thank you for watching. Yes it definitely has! Emma is already planning the trip again with her Dad for next year!

We were always going to make it, Emma is too determined 😂 Thanks so much for following our journey. Off to Google to Cape Wrath way!
You can’t stop there, your now ready for The Cape Wrath Trail. You might need stronger drugs though.
We need to check out this Cape Wrath, we hear loads of people talking about it!
