Here while using sweep, it's creating a solid pipe.
How to create a normal pipe (hollow), I couldn't sweep when I change the circle type to curve from solid.

If you want to make a hollow pipe do use the difference between two circles. As it would make a ring and then use sweep function to make a hollow pipe
