A few things.
Firstly, approaching girls for me is easy, but I'm 33, had time to work on my game before the cultural changes. Approached 2 girls this week, didn't get the digits but so what, on we go.

Trust me women do judge you by your financial status. I make 71k in DC, and am a good cook, and want to actively help raising my kid, but that isn't what women want. That's just what they say. Some women have literally told me to go to Grad School to up my finances.
I think the majority of young men have accepted the fact that they will die alone, but the majority of young women think that there is still a Golden Prince Charming out there.
The issue is from a purely survival standpoint people don't need each other to survive.
BTW women have been fooled into thinking that they can just have a kid, "one day" when they get older. There's just a 30% chance that they will be able to have a healthy pregnancy, and a kid when they get past 32. They've been lied to.
And these girls are simple, because the population is in decline in most of the developed world. These girls need to simply take a look at Japan, Korea & Italy.
