Sai and Brynns' parents weren't there for them....Jessels' parents did everything they could to take care of their children. Jessel is proud of them and what they did for her, Sai seems to have a huge problem with that. Sai needs to be a victim of her childhood and she doesn't want anyone to take that away from her. There's a saying "Depression is living in your past, anxiety is living in the future, happiness is living in the present".....we all know where Sai is living.
@@flightrisk753 the problem is comparison. Just because one persons life was difficult doesn’t mean it has to invalidate the difficulties of another persons life. I totally get Jessel. I too am a child of immigrants and know what difficulties came with that experience. It’s my part of my story too and has had a tremendous impact on my life. Is there someone who probably has it worse in a refugee camp…sure. But, it doesn’t mean life isn’t hard for others. What if someone said to Sai “cry me a river, there are illegal immigrants bussed to NYC from southern states looking for shelter…stop complaining, Sai. Things are harder for them”. Doesn’t feel so nice to be invalidated.
I love Jessel she’s so genuine and real I also feel what she’s saying about cultural differences most Americans don’t really understand 😅

Jessel just radiates class and she doesn’t have to read nobody down, but one day I really hope she unleashes. From the looks of it, her villains could be anybody. Lol
