Wow pencil pouches for sure! I always wondered if those backpacks were good quality so I'm glad to know that they are! I will be looking into those backpacks for next year. These are my favorite pencil pouche fillers I have ever seen! ✏️🤩 OK, so our notebooks are a little different I believe they are from a different company. So cool though how we packed the same type of notebook in our fillers. 💙 Love that matching game and whistle you added. So so thoughtful of you to include all those wonderful stuffed animals. Hi Sharon, I love your generous pencil pack ideas. The Christmas theme is just perfect in allowing you to you to share the joy of Christmas. This year, I made a combination of age and/or gender specific, and gender neutral packs. For the 2-4s, I placed a small plush with a colouring book and a chunky set of pencils (can't send crayons). I was blessed with 20 beach balls just before my collection week and I have sent those as Filler. For items, that were too large or otherwise not appropriate for a shoebox, I am donating these to a local Christmas toy drive. This includes items for babies and adults. TFS! 🎒

Congrats, Sharon! These are amazing “fillers”. Love the assortment of dolls and plushies. The WOW pencil packs are WOW-WOW gifts. I made 200 pencil packs using the 2x9 resealable bags. Was able to fit 4 pencils, 1 pen, 2 crayons, stickers, sharpener, small toy, and for a spine used a slap bracelet ruler and loose pages of coloring book”. I was hesitant about using 8x10 for fear size would be too large for PC to add. Now, I see its doable. Don’t know why my thought process went in that direction. Boy, I am such a work in progress! Have so much to learn! KUDOS to you from a grateful student and friend! Bringing my 100 shoeboxes to drop off on Monday. Hopefully, they’ll take fillers too. WE DID IT!

However, I have spoken with the one of the OCC Leads (AU) and she is planning OCC July 2022. So, I have offered to send on my leftover supplies so full pencil packs can be made. ✏📝🖊
@@eastcoaststories Hi Sharon. Ditto. On the Processing Centre (PC) breaking down larger pencil packs. I packed some of my larger pencil packs into an A5 (1/2 printer paper sized) pencil pouch and placed an elastic band around them. I figured the PC Volunteer could remove the notebook and other paper products, and fold the pouch down and secure with the elastic band.

First of all, those are fantastic wow pencil packs! I love them! Love that you included paper and even a backpack! That’s amazing! Second of all, it’s great that these are neutral gender and age. You KNOW how fast processing goes! You don’t have much time to be looking at whether or not it will work for a girl verses a boy or the age. So these will be so easy for processors to grab! They will go quick… in a blink! Love all the stuffies too! I also bring my filler donations directly to Baltimore PC. Otherwise, if I drop off at a drop off location, they will go to Charlotte instead. Funny how that is. Thanks for sharing! Great job! 👏🏻Bravo!

The backpack was a nice surprise. I wasn't planning to add it to the pencil pack till I got the deal. Of course, it made sense to add it. Thank you. @@eastcoaststories well if your local drop off sends your shoeboxes to Charlotte(which is my case) then the filler goes there too. If your boxes from your drop off go to Baltimore. Then any filler you drop off should go there too. Hope that makes sense! 💕
Sharon I love the stuffies, the dolls are sweet and the other are as well. Great school supply poaches, do they fit flat in the OCC boxes? I would make some up but I'd want them to fit nice and flat...I would have to ship them too since I am in NS...but it would be worth it! maybe next year!
