The long yellow tool is a spirit level. Also, improvise is the right word. 🥰

  • @scmassman

The yellow tool is called a "level". You plug the machine into a "plug". The word you were looking for was "improvise".. You are doing great with your English!!! Your construction site is amazing!!

I'm sorry, I missed quite a few of your videos and struggling to catch up 🙈. Oh yes, I want to decoupage a wall 🙊. Yep, correct pronunciation😁. Oh what an AWESOME idea 💡and I have an empty canvas frame and a small window! Oh and a little matching shelf maybe! Matt gel is so awesome! I think you're saying synthetic brush is best. Lol you had the same idea and it looks fantastic😍😍😍. You can use Tim's distress micro glaze to seal the oxide and makes it waterproof. It's expensive but sure to be a cheaper alternative. Your house is coming along great 👍. Wow that machine is mad! I'd be using "no nails' as it's very strong. That's a spirit level😁. And improvise is the word you're looking for😁. It looks brilliant Luise😍😍😍. Don't apologise honey, we see fine. 👏👏👏👏👏, I love your brain 😁. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Luise, the tool is called a level in English, but when you use it to ensure the vertical slats are straight, that is called plumb. The English word you were looking for is improvisation.

Loved this project dear Luise, worked out so well. By the way with your noisy staple machine, you put the plug into the ' wall socket' that's the hole in the wall, and the bar to get things straight we call a 'spirit level'. And your little edge is indeed ' improvised' . Hope that helps, but your English is so good in general you really need not worry, we all understand your explanations. If only I could speak German half as well. Love n hugs as always to you and Gerri in you wonderful tiny house which is beautiful. Good health and good cheer dear friend from Victoria in England 👍👏🏼😘💐😘

In the US we call what you put the staple machine plug in an electric socket or receptical and I am thinking you may have been using an air compressor. Carpenters have a number of tools that they can connect to it like a finish nailer as well as the stapler. The yellow thing we call a level. Luise, if you want to distress your edges, have you considered using archival ink since it is permanent?

Good morning, Luise! I'm a bit behind watching your videos, so I hope you'll still see my reply. I absolutely love your little home. The knotty pine walls are beautiful. We have knotty pine walls in the little cottage we inherited from my husband's family. It was built by his grandfather. Over the 85 years of its existence, the walls have aged a beautiful golden color, which makes the ambient light in the cottage very warm and cozy. I don't know what was used as a finish on the walls. It was either some kind of varnish or perhaps shellac. But I love it, and I think your little home is just as cozy. Thank you for being so brave to allow us a peek inside. Your Tim Holz window frames are so cool and are perfectly suited to the personality of your home.

Love your tiny house. The frames around the windows look amazing. The plug thingy is an electrical outlet. Ours in the states look a bit different.

Great idea to make frames! I love the TH collage papers! Tim is a genius! Your little house is so adorable....I especially love your plant/potting bench area! Will you do a craft room tour? TYFS ❤️🦋💜

You have done a wonderful job! I love your frames. You could place some large bug pictures on either side of the small window, to bring in the entomology look. I'd love more of these.
