When no one returns to help, Nolan faces one life-and-death decision after another, fighting to keep his daughter alive, as minute-by-agonizing minute passes, becoming unimaginable hours.

I just keep coming back to this interview. The fact that he was so excited about continuing to grow, and so excited about dedicating himself to Meadow just crushes me. At his core, he just wanted to be with his baby. He’d even said that now that he was older, and had his baby that he didn’t take a lot of the risks that he use to. That he was a lot more careful because he had a daughter to raise. And then it was just over. The fact that he won’t be there to walk Meadow down the isle at her wedding is just so heartbreaking.

Beautiful interview. He was just starting to take his career seriously. He was about to
do some amazing things. Humble, genuine, full of life, loved people, kind-hearted. This an enormous loss. My heart still aches. I can tell he had no idea he was being filmed so I feel kind of guilty watching it but happy I did.

To me, Mr. Walker is not dead. He just went home where he always and forever belong to. And like he says it best, we need to celebrate the victory of the good guys. Paul is more than just a good guy. He... Is a hero. I am sure you all are blessed to have an angel in your presence as we all are blessed to have him in all our lives. And for that, I want to thank you, your team and your channel so much for bringing us this wonderful, raw, heartfelt interview.

I have the feeling from the camera angle that he did not know that he was being filmed which is great because he was so honest. It's sad too in that he was 40 and still on self discovery journey when he did so never realized his true potential as a person

+mysangrelatina It would be much more nicer when the pic from Hours had not covered him nearly 3 min. Look at him and his gestures makes me smile. That is his ( nearly ) true nature, open to everything and funny the whole time. It is rar that he speaks so freely. If you find the interviw without the pic and could upload it again, that would awesome.

Man, so much depth in whatever he says. Like someone mentioned it in a comment, I too could listen to him talking all day. Talking and listening to him would totally be a self-discovering experience. I mean look at him, such a natural speaking, the flow of his thoughts keeps coming and coming, there's no stopping him. The other people around the table also seemed speechless, I don't blame them, it's not every day you get to listen to such a speech, which wasn't even officially one, just the natural flow of his thoughts. Wish we could see more of these kind of interviews. In most of them, his isn't totally at ease because of the fixed questions, the best way to reveal one's person is to let him speak naturally.

It breaks my heart when he talks about his daughter. Saying his heart just wasn't to that place yet when she was little. But, at least he got to spend some time with her as a teenager. I'm not judging. I just think it's sad that he wasn't around all that much for most of her life.

Through the years I've followed the careers of a few artists whom I've loved, after many interviews and articles read, I can honestly say this has been one of the, if not the most candid interview of any artist I have seen. As a man, he was coming into certain realizations and truths that only the years can teach one and because of this, I think he was ready to live life with more maturity, and of course, prioritizying his relationship with those he loved above all else, certainly sounds like he was coming to terms with really, truly being a father and what that entails. And in his career, I think this movie, Hours, was a career changer, catapulting him to a more dramatic and less CGI effects, action, driving fast type of stories. A new phase in his career was opening up, with more dramatic/what's truly important in one's life roles and storied. Sadly, life is sometimes so cruel and decides to show it's ugly side. RIP sweet man, we miss you terribly. Your contagious smile and laughter. Your beautiful, mischievous eyes. Your soft, playful voice. Most of all, you.

I love how raw this interview is. You can actually sit, listen nd gravitate to who he was to whom he was becoming. Its sad that his life was cut short but whts really a short life lived, when God calls you home because you've fulfilled your purpose.Aww R.I.P PW

I have seen numerous interviews with Paul and I love his honesty. People around the world love and miss him as though he was there son, brother, their father, their best friend and their soulmate even though they never met him. Paul was a pure soul whose light radiated out to the far corners of the earth. I have connections with people I find myself trying to cheer up because they feel so sad that he is gone. I hope the love that is felt for him flows up to heaven. Thank you for sharing this.....

Beautiful inside and out. In buddhism they say that a soul sometimes gets reborn because it has some unfinished business, wether it is to change or correct it's self or others around it. When it's done it's time is up and there is no need for it to be in the cycle of life...I like to think, from hearing his pure, honest way of thought that he went..because he was done..Leaving people sad means that he shone and will be missed.R.I.P.

This is not merely an interview, but also the sharing the thought of how Paul consider life and the people around him. It's such a prominent time in his 40's, and I always thought to myself that why god almighty took aways his life that early; and that life can able to affectionate and inspire so many others in a positive way. Like Paul's father said, we all lose the light of spirit leading us out of the darkness and that was really true.

I believe so. He references in the interview that he had just turned 40; his 40th birthday was September 12, 2013 and he passed away on November 30th, 2013. But honestly, this interview feels so beautiful and so good. It is so clear that he had come to a point in his life where he felt victory and hope. To go out like that, in that place of peace and clarity about your life and about the world, about who you are and where you are going is honestly a very beautiful thing that I think few people are ever blessed enough to experience. I truly believe that Paul's with God now, in the best place imaginable and that his life to this day is inspiring people to love better and live with more intentionality and heart. To God be the glory- Paul lived his life WELL.
