Thank you for video but i want to ask you something. Why aren't you use horizon and detailed losses ? This parameters are very important for yearly electricity production in pvsyst and directly changes value of electricity production.
In the first example with the 385Wp Jinkosolar panel, the Vmp is 40Volts. The software says that you must connect 26 panels in series, which means 26x40= 1040 Volts far more what the inverter can handle and according to the program everything is fine. How is this possible?? I can t understrand why it doesn t take this into account. Even if we take the Vmp=35 Volts (60 degrees C) still will be 26panelsx 35Volts= 960Volt which are far more than what inverter can handle. Please Ahmed if you out there please explain.
Mr. @John_92, there are some derating factors involved, you can't just multiply the number of modules by its voltage, the program evaluates the site temperature conditions in order to make the arrays, once you select the position of the PV plant the program takes the temperature conditions (max and min) then with the derating factors of the PV modules calculates the real operating conditions for the PV panels, i.e. if the datasheet says a 40 volt in Vmpp that is at 25 degrees or standard test conditions (STC), therefore at 60 degrees is much less so it can be 35 or 33 volts, the same happens with the Isc, Impp, and Pmpp. In order to make a good design, you have to evaluate this parameter to choose the right Inverter also, having these parameters will be better to evaluate the operation threshold for the inverter. You can make the hand calculations in order to review the program results when you choose the inverter, I hope that I explain myself.

سلام يا احمد How is the whole system voltage is only 450v? If you connect 26 modules in a string you will get a voltage that is way more than just 450v. Can you please explain? Thanks

I think you can't use a single battery to store this much energy anyway. Maybe many batteries are connected in series too

You can add our own components to the pvsyst y first converting them to .PAN file
