Couple of questions if you don't mind: Are there fish in the running water on the hike? Is fishing allowed in that section? Where did you rent the canoe and enter the water?
I think some spots are catch and release on the trail, but I would have to double check, but the main fishing area is extremely close to the hike. As far as the canoes, my uncle brought some down, but im sure there is some sort of rental nearby!
This place is heaven early in the morning when the mist is rising on the water. One of our faves.
It is extremely pretty! I try to go at least 2 or 3 days a year if I can!
