Thank you Susan for these amazing live videos and for not editing out the hurdles that occur and that you “jump” over using your ingenuity and thereby helping us to learn!
Thank you so much for these videos and not editing out hurdles that you come to and overcome. As has been said many times necessity is the mother of invention or in a quilter’s case a workaround
That last row of feathers really helped me understand curving around the inner curve! I think I've got it, but I need to actually try it out to be sure 😍 I love these baby quilts!!!
Thanks for another educational video. Glad to see even an expert can get a bit stumped once in awhile. Not that I want anyone to make mistakes, but happy to see how you can wing-it and recover from it,
Omg a celebrity “talked” to me 🤣❤ Seriously though, thank you so much for these lives, I’ve basically learned how to longarm by watching you and I’ve used my grandma’s longarm once and did 3 quilts that weekend!! I’m signed up to take a certification class in order to rent one at a local quilt shop later this month, I can’t wait to quilt some more!!
I started the same way - a friend invited me for an afternoon of quilting...finished 2...knew this was what I wanted to do full time. And never looked back 😂 So glad my show is helpful, and don't hesitate to ask if there are topics you'd like to hear more about.
I love your idea of quilting On a whole cloth quilt as a Good practice on the long arm. I love to piece but then I’m afraid to do anything new on the long arm for fear of messing up the pieces quilt.
One of the most insightful videos about free motion quilting.

Pop sockets work great on rulers that don’t have a handle for you to hold.
I find it so, so interesting watching you work. Thank you for a great, educational video. You are appreciated!

Yes indeed! You don't want your mindset when you're exlporing quilting to be "I don't want to wreck it!"
Would putting your markings on a paper or cardboard strip work? That way you can fold it to use whichever section you need
Yes, someone suggested that during the show, and it's a great idea!
Couldn’t see the leader fold over, please show that again some time.
It is simply pulled under the leveler bar, then forward, and up and over the top rail.
