- "House of a Lifetime" takes us on a personally guided tour of the Hollywood Hills home of comedy legend Richard Lewis, as he anticipates the anxiety-ridden notion of moving in 2013, after twenty-five years and letting go of countless memorabilia. An insiders' look into Lewis’s beloved ‘Museum’ while documenting to preserve thousands of personal and iconic photos, unique pieces of art, and the collectables he’s coveted throughout his impressive career as a stand-up comedian and actor.
This was fascinating and I'm surprised it doesn't have more likes! His life was more storied than I would've ever guessed...and the memorabilia is great. R.I.P.
I heard you for the first time on WTF with Marc Maron all those years ago and I thought you were hilarious. You said this line, "I think I saw a picture of Christ on a Stapler." You made me laugh so much and you were razor sharp in that episode. You also opened the episode by talking about your limo driver and how he was using a globe as a GPS. So many hilarious moments, all off the cuff. You are a legend my friend. Rest in peace wherever you are and you are most likely killing up there in heaven. God bless you.
So sorry to hear that you have passed. Thank you for bringing a smile to my life. RIP 😢
What a wonderful step back in history. Thanks for sharing and taking us along for the ride.
Rest in Peace, Richard.❤. Thank you for all the laughter you brought. 🩵
Thank you, Richard, for taking us along on the journey. Despite your struggles (or perhaps because of them), you've lived a fascinating life. I had the pleasure of meeting you at a fundraiser for animals at Tippi Hedren's house in the late 1980s. I'm so happy you made the decision to LIVE life and, for the least of reasons, to continue gracing ours with your humility and your humor.
Dear Richard Lewis, you were one in a million. We will miss you so much. Rest In Peace Legend with a heart of gold. Thank you for so much laughter and kindness.
I don't know if Joyce will see this but I just heard about Richard's passing and I am very saddened, as a fan of 40 years here in the UK, I will miss his unique talents and humanity so much. I send my deepest condolences.

Hey, man. I didn't watch this doc yet but I will. Looking forward to it. I'm missing your interview videos that you were doing for a while there. Really enjoyable. I tried to put out the word about them to friends. More would be great to see, but if not, so be it.
Moving on......

Not one mentioning of Letterman or photograph with him. Very strange.( Dave was a very private person probably ) Richard you are one of my favorites. 🙏🏼

RIP honey!!!
Do you have more old photos with Larry or any with Gilbert?
You just know he was one of the good guys if for no other reason than his obvious love of Procol Harum. RIP Keith Reid, Gary Brooker & Richard.
