Whats the best bike for $1000 and under. Tried to get the Benxi Seeker24. Said its discontinued. Before that i was leaning towards the Kingbull literider/Heybike Tyson (over $1000), but im looking for speed 😂
Ok so you turned field weakening back on. Nice. Lol. I made a video about the QS273 so you can understand why that 3.3T motor will NEVER go much of 70mph on a 72v battery without field weakening. When ebike Kinevil did 103 mph, field weakening was on, not off. Anyone who understands what I show in the video will know that because there are also many online calculators showing that a 26” diameter tire needs to go 1330 rpm to go 103 mph. Your 3.3T motor would need 110v to do that without field weakening. Mode 1 and Mode 2 are merely limits set based on percentages mode 3, plus their own rpm limit specification. Your mode 1 and 2 have always been set above default, so as soon as you turned on field weakening, it allowed mode to go above the rated rpm of the 273 40H 3.3T on about 80v. I hope you make a video showing a slow scroll through your top secret tune (lol) along with the dashboard during a high speed run. Anyone can set a FarDriver for “turn and burn”. A “tune” implies making settings that are specifically for your battery, motor, ebike, rider weight, rider environment, and most importantly how willing the owner is to repair a burned motor. Lol I can only guess that when you changed from 3.3T to 2T, you turned field weakening off, because it didn’t really need it. Then when something happens to the 2T and you put the 3.3T back on, you didn’t understand what “back EMF” or “rated rpm” means. So you kept thinking you wanted field weakening off, not on. When field weakness was off it was offering some protection for your motor by limiting current at top speed of 70 mph. Now that you turned field weakening back on, you have released the beast of the 721200 and it really needs some sort of limits to help you protect the motor. The settings needed for top speed will of course burn the motor so it will still be up to you to mentally manage thermal on your motor. You will see your 40H cannot even use 600a DC or 1200a phase. But the problem is even if you used default for mode 2 (50% DC), thats still 6x rsted power for your motor. And it will be uncontrollable to a new rider. Mode 1 default of 25% would be 150a (if you had 600a dc in main settings), thats 12kw, 3x rated power for your 4kw motor. This is why there is no “master tune”, because it depends who is riding and who is paying for the damage. I can tune it for your wife, your oldest son, you, me, anyone, and all those will be very different tunes. Anyone who buys a Tommy Bike should understand the fundamentals of tuning and start very very conservatively to protect himself and the motor, and slowly make changes while testing the effect of each change.
Thank you for showing more of the reinforcement of the rear stays and brakes. I am prepping my new bike now and I have the KKE forks with a 20mm front axle. I am looking forward to this build! Thanks for everything!

I like your bike because it's made for the street rather than the trail like all the other bikes and you designed it for your own style rather than these other producers who make bikes that they don't even ride personally
You need to start building motorcycles because if these high wattage bikes start getting pulled over it’s going to change the laws here in Florida and fuck it up for the rest of us!!!
Awesome bike dude, im really enjoying your videos. Ive got a sabvoton on my bike which i have e brake and regen turned off. I noticed that when freewheeling downhill the motor sometimes cuts in and starts to slow me down. If I blip the throttle it freewheels again. Any idea whats happening?
Hey quick question, I had a 48v1500w motor and used it with a 72v battery running 45a it was definitely pushing the amps/watts i wanted it to but for some reason I capped out at around 35mph it didn't get any faster from 48v it just got better acceleration/torque. Do you have any explanation as to why?
is their a way i could buy this bike or have one built?! I was about to spend 5200 with a chance of that same bike getting impounded. I live in orlando fl, if shipping isnt an option i can pick it up while trucking
The fix is easy. The speed you want to go, squared, is the dollars it will cost. Lol. 47mph is not slow on a bicycle, but of course it can go faster. The Surron being mid-drive also has the option of changing the sprockets ratio, which is similar to changing a hub motor from 5T to 3.3T to 2T. I assume the factory ratio was optimal for the original battery, controller and motor. The Surron motor uses surface mounted magnets so you can’t just keep making go faster or the magnets will crack and fly off. So that’s something to minimize if you make changes to the controller and battery. There is of course a built in safety margin so it can probably go 60 mph before it causes damage. Changing the sprocket ratio will allow the motor to run slower to stay within mechanical RPM limits, but also reduces torque to the rear tire. But at the same time it reduces the amount of field weakening needed which gives more torque, so it sort of cancels out. If you change the controller only, that will allow you to get as much as possible out of the stock battery before the BMS ends the party, and also as much as the motor can handle before overheating or overspeeding. But nothing wrong with a 47 mph reliable ebike. Thats as fast as my ebike goes before the death wobble begins. Lol. But you can get 50 mph easy. 60 mph will need 50% more power. 94 mph will need 400% more power. How much you want to spend? Lol
I’m thinking of doing an 8000w ebike on a mountain bike, planning to use a 3000w motor from ablebike with statorade and heat sinks, ill most likely use a 150a sabvaton tuned to 100a and a 72v 31ah battery from able bike.
So whats the total costs taking everything into account for this e bike, i mean welding alterations to frame, battery and complete components build, just curious really, but man that is shit fast and the acceleration and top speed is amazing, you seriously have some big balls fella.
