I just bought the Ottlite3 in 1. Do you have a video that can show me how to put it together? I can't add the magnifier and clip attachment to the light. Thank you
I just assembled my Ott-Lite 3-in-1 24 Watt Lamp. I noticed an extra ring ( after seeing this video I found out that it's the lock washer ) that was included with the flat washer, the bolt, and the wrench. Since the lock washer wasn't shown or mentioned in the instructions, I thought that it was just an extra piece of metal. So, I assembled my lamp without it. I did save the part though. Do I have to take my lamp apart and reassemble it, or will it be stable enough the way it is?
i just received my lamp in the mail from Walmart. It's obviously used. The bottom of the base is scratched up & dirty. The bulb was already in the lamp. The worst part is that it's the wrong hardware that came with it. The bolt won't even fit into the hole so you can screw the lamp into the base. It seems that this was a return, at least part of it was, & then it was pieced together. I don't want a used lamp anyways... But now I'll have to wait, again! because I'm disabled & by mysellf so I can't just run up to Lowe's to grab the correct hardware or to Walmart to exchange it, to get the replacement lamp. I've already waited 2 weeks to begin with. I realize it's not Ott's fault but grrrr!!!
Thank you! That click is the key!
I need to replace a 24W tube in my floorlamp and they describe everything but. I don’t want to break it.

Marylee, did you ever find a video on this? I'm having the same issue. Thanks.

Stodoys has a very large project base.
Told everything except how to get the lamp out to replace it… Please…
I have an old OTTLite that needs to be reassembled. This explanation doesn’t help.
There is no explanation you can't even see the remote control he's clicking so fast this was kind of ridiculous LOL
