Angry Grandpa was a national treasure. I started watching back in 2011, and I used to watch his videos every day after school. He was a kind, caring, and hilarious guy. Gone way too soon.
I remember, a long time ago, watching my first AGP video. It was the heavy metal wake up prank. I've kept watching, all the way until he passed. In 2016-2017, when I was at one of my lowest points, I watched the videos to keep me smiling, keep me laughing, keep my mind off the pain. I've watched the daily vlogs since 2014 but truly started watching in 2016. When he passed, I continued to watch until the pandemic began. I still can't believe he's gone. I can't believe I'm as old as I am, and can't believe I'm still here. He was really something. He may have had his moments, we all do, but he did his best. What moments he had he made up for, and kept the strength and unity in both the community and his family. Jor-El's speech from Superman (1978) says it best. "They can be a great people Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you, my only son." AGP not only wished to be part of a greater people, he strived to be, and in the end, with his capacity for good, he showed us all what it meant to be a great people. He was truly someone special. Someone who's story will far outlive him, far outweighing the very nature of his being. He may have only been a man, but he was one of the greats. The kind that only come every few lifetimes. But no time can remove the the impact he's made, nor the hearts he's touched and continues to reside within. He will never be forgotten, always remembered, always cherished, always loved.

Even though he spent 90% of the time screaming and destroying shit, he came across very likable. I've been a fan for years, I'd love to see more unreleased videos.👍

I still remember the first time I watched. My dad said, come here and see this crazy old man go nuts! I was hooked from that moment on. The viral ps4 cookie video. Never missed a video since. My jaw was dropped the entire time. 😂 God I miss him so much. My biggest regret was never writing him. I wish I could go back. These uploads make my day. And by the end I have tears rolling down my cheeks. Some happy, some sad. All these emotions can't amount to yours I'm sure. We all miss him with you. ❤ Thank you Michael. Watching you grow up to be his number one supporter, friend, and the best son he could ask for means the world to us more than you know. I am 16 now and I started watching him when I was 10, I never got to talk to him or meet him but micheal is cool too, I love how far hes gotten in life and inspires me to help my family too and find my purpose. Angry granpa is a legend and im always thinking of the things he would of done in todays world.
