A bitter feeling when i see somin getting teased with sechan in the latest episode again and this sort of gives me a forced love-line vibe. Such camaraderie makes me feel uncomfortable as a viewer and more so as a kookmin supporter. During the opening scene, oppa admittedly also said, 'sechan does flirt with her off screen since the time they were teased'. I am just worried that such things might subconsciously make kookmin distance themselves away from each other. Because, IF they are in the stage of still being 'close' as friends, judging by oppa's personality, he will surely distance himself away if somin is being paired with someone who is close to him as well. i think there is something going on between kookmin but there are restrictions on them in front of the camera. did you see the moment when kjk and jsm won together at the rock paper scissors? that made things pretty clear. kjk's initial reaction was to hold her hand, he held her hand for a second, then jsm made a motion towards the pd or the camera with her eyes and he let go with a sheepish grin at whatever she was looking at. if a simple holding hands to celebrate is taboo before the camera, then i don't know what else is forbidden. i don't know how far the loveline with ysc will continue even if the team wants it. they might stretch it till the fanmeet or beyond, but from whatever i have observed, jsm always finds a way to get out of whatever box they put her in. kjk is also possessive of jsm. even with kwangmin, sometimes you can see him pull a face, so let's see. jsm showing off her belly doodle to kjk was just so hilarious and cute. all the other guys turned away when she did that. kjk too could have turned away, but his attempt was always to pull her shirt down. i too share some of your concern about whether or how far romantic link ups on the show would affect their offscreen interaction. i think there are things on the show beyond kookmin's control. but if things get awkward because of the loveline, i hope it will lead them to set things right. like you said, we have to be patient and hope for good sense to prevail.

From my own perspective at that moment when kwangmin was getting heightened Somin was single and new to the show and rather I think had no strong feelings for anyone. However, this time with Sechan I can tell it is quite different since it seems like the members are rather passionate about this love-line and even though Somin brings up something rather silly and funny they end up linking her with Sechan and romance, which seems to be for the sake of show, or rather they need new banter to get audience to laugh and excited. Furthermore, I also think that things on Somin side has changed too, she seemed rather uncomfortable during the whole conversation and from this I could tell that she does mind this loveline and that she has strong feelings for someone now or even dating. Sechan is her close buddy so it would have been funny if she sort of laughed it off and said he is just a colleague but she didn't, she showed extreme discomfort not only for the show but also privately. So from my analysis I think that Somin-Sechan couple does not in any way threaten kookmin and I think as far as KJK reacting to this conversation, I think it is well within the show's scope. KJK is very close to Sechan and now Somin, so it is rather weird that he doesn't bring up any conversation he had with Sechan privately and you can tell that he is just bouncing off other members comments. So, for now I think that this love-line will be harmless and may even be a way to cover-up the relationship that Kookmin have. To divert attention maybe, this is my own wishful thinking. Since, kookmin seem to be getting attention lately, I think that the stuff and members are trying to get attention away from them to get them to develop their romance privately. As @kookminclan RunningMan mentioned below during the rock paper scissor moment when Somin and jong kook one the first round it was really touching how jong kook celebrated. But for me what was more touching was the end of the 2nd round, it seemed as though Jong Kook didn't mind losing to somin at all, you can hear how he responds so cutely and softly when she wins "I wanted to play scissor." The caption says that he was disappointed, his reaction didn't look at all disappointed to me at all, it seemed to me as though he was excited for her.
