I HAVE SEEN A TON OF VIDEO PRESENTATIONS ON MANY DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AND THIS IS THE VERY BEST TUTORIAL I GAVE EVER SEEN. YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT TEACHER THANK YOU
Doug, great video on making a special feature. Every town in the world has a back poluted pond. Cheers, and greeting from Australia, stay safe, Michael
Something people usually miss when modeling industrial areas adding debris and junk is paper trash blowing around. In more modern times along with the paper there's cardboard and plastic trash blowing around too.
Great instructional vid as always! Once I made a muddy pond for a nephew's layout. I used Tasters Choice Instant with the liquid acrylic and found Taster's Choice Instant makes a great muddy color. It melted right into the liquid.
How would all that junk have got there? Carrying a fridge across the tracks? I know in a later vid you put a grade xing but would a NY citizen drive there to dump stuff?

Just found your channel and I’m blown away by not only the realism and detail, but the step by step instructions. Subscribed!!
Thx Rob!
A stocking/pantyhose on the end of your vacuum can save all that excess static grass. Not that it’s a bank breaker ;)

I agree, I plan on adding piles of cardboard and paper trash .

I don't know how they get there, but I've seen that and just about anything you can imagine along tracks in New York :)
Nice. However, I think the ubiquitous shopping trolley should be present
I'snt it neat that we can make Polluted cess pools on our Rail Roads; but, thank God we don't see this much anymore?

Man there are a lot of litterbugs in Queens. 😂
👍 Less is more.
That dirty, filthy pond reminds me of my ex-gf’s sideways smile. It was like a bulldog chewing in mayonnaise.
