i might be crazy but i think some of this is way easier to play on the lute for the simple fact that the hand shapes are less awkward than on a regular guitar

I've listened to J. S. Bach's music for nearly all of my life, and I'm 70, and played music for several decades ("classical" guitar, although that's a complete misnomer), and to me Bach's music sounds like talking, like a conversation. No other music I've ever heard or played strikes me like this the way his music does.

There is a fairly minor work by him which I will confess at the outset that I can no longer remember (and I haven't owned a recording of it in many decades) that sounds for all the world to me like an argument between two people. It really is amazing. But that's what contrapuntal music really is: different voices crossing each other, sometimes harmonizing and sometimes clashing. But the subject is the same, and so it's like a conversation or an argument.
I felt the same way when I went to see a performance of Chopin, the left and right hand were two different people conversing. Now I am sitting here drinking my coffee in ultimate bliss trying in vain to digest every note. I am just a grain of sand swept away by the waves of Bach moved by a masterful musician.

While listening to 996 on my cd player, I thought the CD made noise after about 6 minutes. When I listened the music at this UA-cam, also it sounded like scratching, It's like the sound that the strings make when playing an instrument.

I stopped playing guitar for around 8 years, but recently picked up my classical and was surprised that I could remember how to play basically all the songs I knew (as well as bits and pieces I made up myself), even if the muscle-memory/dexterity suffered a bit.
