The Archies is kind of the show that is more likely to be watched by the classy audiences of India and wealthy people from rich society and people who cater to reading books and reading fashion magazines and are non judgmental people and educated audiences!! So definitely people who are desi wouldn’t like it

Its a show for people of elite background. The time period of the story was set at a time when India was struggling with food insecurity. Its a story for a niche audience and have nothing to with being educated or classy. Most Indians doesn't like their elites as they want to be Americans with no class and live in a bubble with gender studies degree.

I also grew up in India was educated in a convent high school then went to America and watched American shows and my problem is if I want to watch all this I can watch Hollywood but nothing like this ever existed in the 60s in India. My problem is how brainwashed these kids are bowing to a superior culture. Maybe Vivek Agnihotri is right. These nepo kids hate India but are stuck due to their baap dada ki milkat. You too are super judgmental because you are also judging others as illtreat trash who may not like this kind of cinema. I have not seen one Indian of the 1960's in the trailer. This movie is not about rich or poor as I am not poor. This movie is about a bunch of rich kids who hate India and are trying hard to make India into some western country but do not have the imagination or creativity or any idea of how to do it. So they just make sasti copies of US OTT's like Barracuda Queens or even Riverdale for that matter. Even the name here is Riverdale. It is this attempt at making a quick buck off of the naiveness of the younger generation that is the problem.

In this interview what's been the most noticeable and interesting factor is that the 3 or 4 outsider's that came sounded and looked so talented, confident and full of life. However, I found the Nanda guy, Suhana and Khushi so average , undeserving with zero talent, knowledge and ability. Nevertheless, just like all other bollywood stars kids I'm willing to see what they can do. But really the girl that sang my full bet is on her. Now whether she'll get the opportunities like the insiders is to be seen.
