We have a local samosa-only place here that we pretty much have to avoid, because we know we'll order too many and eat nothing but samosas for days otherwise. They're irresistible! This is my all time favorite comfort snack... You have prepared it really well. I have never used garlic in the filling- will try it out! Stuffing looks aromatic and appetizing. Your tips are very useful. It's really important to take care of the flame, I usually fry the samosas on a low medium flame.

Oh yeah totally smelled good and of course they were delicious! And sorry, do you mean the pan where I made the mixture in or the wok where I deep fried the samosas? Let me know! But yeah for deep frying it was a stainless steel wok and the pan was a non-stick one!

Hi, Anadi! Even though I am not familiar with South Asian food, the way you described that breakfast...I am sure it was great. I agree: the microwave dries out potatoes a bit. I could see a bit of chunks of potato added nice texture. Cashews and raisins? Nice ideas...but I am with you. Sometimes simple is best. Thanks for the tip about not using oil that is too hot.
