Had my MK3 for about the same time as you and love it! Everything is in the right place, the on/off switch I generally leave on while walking around and let the camera go to sleep, preserving battery. I have the 12-100, 14-40 2.8 some others you mention but also find the Laowa 6mm f2 brilliant!
Great video, new susbscriber here. I have been considering buying an em1 mkiii but I already own an om5. Would that be a good investment? I'm just a hobbyist.
Hey thanks for subscribing Honestly they’re very similar, there’s a few areas the em1 mkiii is better The main one for me is the grip on the em1 is probably the best one on any camera I’ve held so it’s super comfortable to use for long periods I’ve not experienced hands on with the om5 yet but from what I’ve read online the tripod mount is a weak point so if you’ve got some of the heavier lenses and use a tripod the em1 mkiii might be a sensible upgrade
@gavtakesphotos yes, thanks for rsponding. I know they are very similar but the em1 mkiii has a couple details superior to the om5. Anyway, I sold my Canon R-10 and just bought an em1 mkiii refurbished from OM systems USA with two years of warranty, very low shutter count and only for $764. Black friday deal on Ebay. I live in North Carolina and we have, as an average, 105 rainy days a year I need weather sealing for sure and the R-10 despite it's superior AF and speed, used to be more time at home in a dry cabinet than taking photos. Anyway, thanks for your answer and keep doing great videos. Cheers.
I've just repurchased the 45mm f1.8 again and wondering why I ever sold it The L bracket it from AliExpress and for the price it's held up really well, no bending or parts failing just a good solid L bracket
Try reviewing the camera. I don't care where you are shooting the video, what camera you are using to record the video, all the lenses you've used and sold. Just review the camera and its amazing features!
Actually I’d push back on that notion. That sort of review is so easy to find another one would be a bit redundant and experience with lenses is super interesting. Similarly I’m more interested to hear about features that are actually getting used over time and their benefits than the typical run through of features found in a normal review.
I adore my em 1's, I have the mkii and the mkiii. Amazing cameras.
They are definitely something special
thanks for the effort and sharing. helpful. thumbs up.
Still enjoying my EM1 Mk1. Not sure a Mk3 would make a big difference.

I love the images I get from my OMD EM1 MK3 it's bonkers how mine keeps producing stunning photography
New subscriber from me
Just traded some cameras in for one today. Loving the image stabilisation!
You can remap the on off button to the right side several videos on how to do this.

It's not a review but I get what you mean

To add to that point, the only reason UA-cam pushed this video on me is because I’ve already watched enough reviews of the camera body elsewhere!
